RUSH Game Thread - Orlando @ Jazz - 12/3/15 7 PM MST

The thing I like least about the team is how they can just look disinterested. I mean, they're trying and everything I guess, but their personalities are pretty timid. Even when the Warriors are playing the 76ers they have great energy, they run, laugh, and have fun. The Jazz seem to play down to their competition and just have a duhhhhhhh expression when they play.

The Jazz also look uncomfortable as hell in close games.

This worries me, chemistry issues?

Maybe Quin's slow pace offense is boring for them too.

In addition the home crowd is not a difference maker anymore for the Jazz.

A lack of effort is what I hate the most, anyone would be running their butts off in their position.

Quin has to adapt the offense with the players he has in the roster. We don't have enough reliable shooters to maximize his offense.

I don't think it's a bad chemistry, just a lot of introverted low-key personality guys. Like when say Hayward makes a 3, he goes :| and just jogs back on defense.

I'm not saying they have to do things like this: https://gfycat.com/competentpleasingass or try to use the Warriors' chemistry as a measuring stick because that's unrealistic. But if you listen to the post-game interviews, guarantee 9 times out of 10 Hayward/Burke/whoever will say something like "we needed to come out with more energy to start/close the game"

Agreed, a roster always needs a star that's known for always being competitive. With Gobert out who fills this spot? And Hayward has always been a bit stuck up imo...

We don't have enough confidence to do that, how can we do that when we have an unproven coach and the average person on the roster hasn't even been in the league longer for 3 years. This is why we need a superstar. That's why we succeeded with with Deron Williams.

Did we watch the same game? Shooting was like the only thing that wasn't a problem for the Jazz.
