What's new

Santa is white. Is it wrong?

So because one becomes a moderator, one can no longer be agitated by certain posters they get tired of seeing?

I didn't see that in the rule book. There must be a different set unavailable to lowly members that's for moderators.

Jason, would you kindly post that for everyone to read instead of just the moderators and overwhelmingly elite few like our dear friend pearlWatson?

That just happened.

Thanks roach.

Back in the day, I was asked to stop posting responses to to someone (not Stoked), because it was deemed not appropriate for a moderator to be in such an agitated discussion.

However, I have no objection to Stoked's continuing in this discussion. He's just revealing who's he's been all along.

I have never hidden who I am.

12 Years a Slave was directed by Steve McQueen (I think that's the movie cowhide meant). The Help was Tate Taylor, and Lee Daniels' The Butler was by Lee Daniels.

I have heard very, very good things about The Butler.

Maybe not. I supposed I was just too determined to think of you as a different person than you are.

You do not truly know who I am. Just who you perceive me to be. Regardless of wether your perception is reality. Your perception has simply changed. You can never truly know who I am over an internet board.

That's dumb.

But then again, I wasn't around for the situation. I have no way of seeing if the situations were the same or not.

Of course. I was just referring to the internet board version of you. I'm sure nothing about the real person is reflected there.

Of course this has a reflection on the real me. That reflection is of course open to interpretation by each and every individual reader. The perception will vary from reader to reader. But none of them, unless they know me in person, have any real clue as to who I am.

Same applies to you and how people perceive you. I for one hope this persona of One Brow on here is a facade you have used for internet posting purposes. In part at least.

Sure he can get agitated, but it is what he chose to do with that agitation (abusive personal attack) that is disgusting.
Of course I think the people in charge should not break the rules they were chosen to uphold. Don't you?

White Jesus can't see what you write or do on the internet so go ahead and be a dick to your heart's content...it won't count against "the real you."

Since you know that, perhaps in the future you'll comment on how you read things, instead of telling people what they are like.

Santa was always an old white man. No problem with saying that or keeping it like that.

For us I see no reason to change. But I see no harm in others presenting him differently. For example is he an old white man in asian countries? In Africa?
