Season Prediction

I think 47-48 wins is realistically achievable. Even more pleasing tho which I'd forgotten is no more watching the shelvin Mack ****show!

Who's gonna be Quinn's pet and whipping boy this year ??

Locke just said that the over under on the Jazz line this season is 40.5 wins. Jazz got better defensively and that should guarantee 45 wins based off of history.

Anyone taking that bet?

What was the line last year? Wasn't it around 43 or 44 wins? The Jazz will be better than a .500 team unless they don't want to be.

I would take the 40.5 win bet in a heartbeat if I did that type of thing. I personally would put the over/under at around 44.5 wins.

I think the Jazz are better than Denver and Portland and will be there with Minnesota in the mid-40s. I'm optimistic about Mitchell and Hood being able to score the ball.

40.5 is easy money.

Somebody explain the Vegas over and under stuff to me. Mostly, just tell me how much I'm certain to win if I put down $1,000.

With the Dante injury and Joe being elevated to starter I've got a bad feeling about the season and it is telling me 38 wins is a likely destination.

Mitchell needs to play like ROY for us to have a chance at being good IMO. But if he does, and Hood doesn't get injured, and Ingles gets back to himself, we could be quite good. Basically if we miraculously have no injuries and Mitchell kills it we are going to be tough to beat.

I'm going with 40 wins. I think we're gonna lose a lot of really tough, really close games, mainly due to having no go-to scorer in the waning minutes. If I'm the Jazz, Gobert needs to be that guy. Rubio could perhaps find him for an easy basket. Or even more often, Rudy will draw the foul and go to the line. But outside of him, I don't see one guy on our team who is closer material.

joe jesus?

Under/Overs usually pay $1.90 so for $1000 bet you'd collect $1900.or $900 winnings.

That's a confusing way to say it.

To win $1,000, one usually has to risk $1,100. But it's not always that simple. Take the Jets this pre-season as an example. Their OU for wins was 4.5. And EVERYONE still bet the under. But Vegas knew moving the line to 4 didn't make much sense as it wouldn't change the betting any really so instead of moving the line, they just added the juice. In late August, if someone wanted to bet under 4.5 wins for the Jets, they had to risk $190 to win $100.

But generally speaking the vig is 10%.
