This is silly.
Is that what the kids in Middle School say these days??

No idea. I don't allow my kids to speak.
Say what you want, but adding Al Jefferson to the Spurs would make the Spurs a bigger threat to come out of the West. Giving him that title shot is doing him a real solid. Jefferson has been a real professional in his time at Utah. I hope it happens for several reasons.

Depends who they give up. Splitter is such a good fit (arguably the best pick and roll big in the league) and team player, it's entirely possible they get worse trading Splitter for Al.Say what you want, but adding Al Jefferson to the Spurs would make the Spurs a bigger threat to come out of the West.

I would've thought the Jazz would get more back in a deal, especially a draft pick from somewhere. Separately, I wonder if we would waive Jackson.
I think it's a bit unfair to call lump Green in with 'scraps' (although there are a few Spurs fans who would disagree with me) as the guy has great size for the 2, can hit the 3 and defend. Do the Jazz need anyone at the 2 though? I don't watch you guys much, I'm assuming Hayward plays 3?
I understand you'd be looking for picks, but do you think you are likely to get much more than Green + 30th for him? It is a gamble for anyone to trade for an expiring, would a team be willing to give up a lottery pick for him?
I like a core of Green/Hayward/Favors/Kanter/Millsap going forward, all young and talented. Would really need a quality point guard to put it all together.
Hahaha!
No.
UR wrong.
Any team that obtains Big Al becomes worse.
Besides, I'll take my chances. Give me Kanter and Favors. Those 2 will combine for 50+ against Big Al. Could you imagine how much better our offense would flow if Burks, Hayward, Favors, and Kanter had Big Al to pick on?
And can somebody tell me who the hell Patty Mills is and why he deserves to be our future PG or even a backup PG?
So far, I see a guy getting 11 minutes a game and averaging 5 points and less than an assist per game.
Big Al as a 2nd option on offense is different than Big Al as a first/only option on offense. I think Al would be great next to Duncan. That's two bigs who both draw double teams and are interchangeable in the high and low post.
Guess, you haven't seen much of Mills. You should've watched the Olympics. The guy has got game -- more of shoot-first PG, but potentially better than Mo.
And we waive Jackson so the Spurs can resign him and for that they give us their 1st-rounder (wink-wink).

Ok so here's the thing- Not that I wouldn't completely discard this trade, but I think Tiago Splitter is fool's gold. Most of his points come from the Spur's amazing offense and Manu's PnR passes. I'm not so sure how good he is on another team.
Kind of like Roger Mason- the Spurs can make anybody look like an all star.

Stephen Jackson....headcase.
