Switching is up, at least against the Jazz. Hitting the big in a mismatch is basically the best play you can make in those situations, and killing a switching defense is one of the bigger steps this team needs to make.
Regular season basketball is about whose standard gameplay is the most unstoppable, playoff basketball is less that and more about having fewer exploitable weaknesses. Not being able to punish that mismatch (which includes drawing a double-team and passing out of it) is a looming weakness that demands addressing. The Jazz have a whole season to work on it, but only if they decide to.
