Should Mitt release his tax returns?

Maybe the NAACP should get some god damn horses

nightmare, Yes, you get more money out of someone catching someone cheating the government out of 10 million dollars than 10 dollars , and if the IRS gets a 50% return , the rich guy is still up 5 million. The rich guy has smart lawyers and accountants and investment managers helping him out. The poor guy is sacred and alone, and is probably going to pay whatever the IRS asks for without even arguing, including penalties. Your recovery rates are comparing apples and oranges. Sorry you can't get blood out of a stone if the poor guy is broke and a lawyer would cost more than the fine.

Do I hear a Republican defending the competence and efficiency of a government agency?Awesome how you people twist around depending on the situation. It's like a Jordan up and under!

What you really hear is me saying you should stop acting like you know more about taxes and tax law than the IRS.

Is seeing his tax returns going to influence any of you in whether you vote for him or not? Like seriously?

Very few partisans will be swayed in either direction. I would not support the notion that everyone who reads this thread is a partisan.

Am I claiming I would know what Mitt Romney is getting away with if I could see his tax return? Or is it you?

If you read the stoked v northeast thread you should know that common sense and logic are not effective with northeast.

Try again. Where did I say any of that?

I might have exaggerated just a little to make a point. So what?

As to your first link, I have such disdain for red state farm socialism that I would neuter the entire Cargill family and mount their sacks on a wall inside the Library of Congress.

If it is for a pet horse, it sure is...
Where do you think all the money the red states like Texas take from the Federal Govt comes from?

You want to us pay trillions for the military, but don't want billionaires to pay taxes?
