If the Hornets land the 1st overall pick, I wonder if they would be willing to trade the Timberwolves pick for Big Al.
Big Al + Davis would be a good front-court pairing. I think they would still be able to retain Eric Gordon. I don't know how the trade would workout since they don't really have much contracts that can match Jefferson other than Okafor (rather not take that contract back, though he is a good defensive player and would expire the same time Favors and Hayward are up for new contracts).
If we did make it to where we swapped Okafor and Jefferson, I would want to do it before the order has been set, so we can still retain a sliver of hope the 10th pick jump in the top 3.
Does anyone think this is logical/fair/possible?
