Sign Hayward, Trade for Millsap

In this JaMychal Green scenario we are moving on from Faves

(and I don't think we have the $8 million MLE anyways, I think we have the $5 million)
I posted ESPNs break down earlier and they claimed we had both the full 8 million MLE and the 3 million bi annual exception.

I'm not sure dumping Favor's for nothing will get us enough room to offer more than the MLE. Maybe if we dumped Burks and Favor's for nothing, renounced all our cap holds except Hayward and the rookies and cut diaw.

Yes sorry I should explain my thought process rather than doing the numbers in my head. Diaw, Faves and Burks off the books.

And I'm counting Hayward's contract. I think we would only have the taxpayer MLE (about 5 million) if he signs his deal and assuming no other salary dumps of Burks or Favors but cutting Diaw or not cutting Diaw same MLE I believe.

My assumption is that they would work out a deal for a free agent at the full $8 million MLE before the moratorium ends so they could use that before officially signing Jingles to his contract. MLE let's them add a guy while over the cap but behold the tax threshold and Bird rights let's them keep Jingles and go over the tax. I could be wrong about that though.

Denver is going to have the best offense in the NBA.

The community and org has always wanted to score in bunches, even at the expense of winning. I like it, it makes the league more entertaining.

Not sure what they were thinking trading #13 pick for a pf and drafting a pf, so the could sign a pf in free agency.

Burks for Faried.

I'd take Faried. He does nothing for our spacing issues, but I freaking love hustle players who rebound. Burks going back to Colorado would be interesting. I'm assuming it would cost the Jazz something more. Not willing to give up a first round pick for two years of Kenneth Faried off the bench.

Sounds even worse when you say it like that. . .

My favorite quote from draft night was from the Denver gm, something like..."we tried to get in on several trades for good players, but got trey lyles."

Alec Burke would really fit the style they want to play, and they wouldn't even notice his defense. Even with the injuries he probably has value there.

Shocking you think they are a contender adding Millsap. Gsw OKC spurs are all better . Also the rockets are better. Anyway Mansap wants to play and live in Denver. Lol at you thinking they would be a contender.. You have such a low bball iq it's funny because my 11 year old knows more then you already

Okay kid. Surprised you can even make offspring. Hope you arent raising him to be the douchebag you are.

Yes, with Millsap's ability on both ends of the floor, we would have had the most balance in the first and 2nd unit than I have ever seen in Utah. Would we be as good as GS, probably not. Would have loved to have seen the possibilities.

Enjoy the rest of your day kid.

Thought Sap wanted to win.

He got paid relative pennies for most of his career. Additionally, Denver is starting to look like they might be pretty good. Especially if they can land Hill.

I'm wondering the same thing. Where's GVC?
