I was just joking. But they should be equal, right? You can't make the gay guy go shower in the Janitor's closet where they keep the mops. That would be demeaning. Only the Janitor should have to shower there.

Yes I've watched him play and yes he sucks. Worst NBA player in league--that's debatable.

Nobody in this thread that is saying they dont want him on the team cares whether or not hes gay.

Exactly. Seriously, what would Jason bring to this team? Every minute he plays would take away from one of the young guys. OK, give Enes and Derrick 30+ minutes and we still need a 3rd big. Can Jason be the third? Not even close. Jazz need to being in a YOUNG player with UPSIDE. And they need to give that guy playing time. Even as a 4th big, there would be better options (Marvin, Jeremy or a draft pick). I'd rather bring back Fesenko than have Jason. And it has nothing to do with his orientation.

You really are questioning if dudes would get turned on while showering with hot naked babes? It would be out of control. Think about going to the pool. People get turned on looking at girls in bikinis. I think it would be a lot easier to get turned on if they were naked.

Yet a number of studies have now found that integrating homosexuals openly into the military has had NO negative impact on things such as troop morale, cohesiveness or performance. Yet for decades we heard from the establishment how integrating openly gay soldiers into the ranks would cause all of the above. IT HASN'T HAPPENED.

One reason researchers have found is that it is not 'social cohesion' but 'task cohesion' that matters to troop performance. There's no reason not to believe that this is true in team sports as well.
