What's new

Sloan is reconsidering returning to NBA

"the right situation" will never appear for him.

He will always have less control then he did in the last year with the Jazz.

I don't see him wanting to be a part of any rebuilding project, but you never know, Sloan marches to the beat of a different drum.

I would see him coaching a highschool or smaller college team. Something that would not require him to travel as much.

Don't agree.

If Sloan is getting that itch to coach again I think this is the kind of team he would want to coach.

We would then find out what Cousins is made of. The offense would be run through him. If Cousins listens and does what Sloan asks of Cousins he could turn into a great player, or will he wilt under Sloan's no nonsense my way or the highway coaching style, and become the head case PKM says is not the case.

I believe this is the kind of job he would want.

This is some seriously crazy **** right here.

I'm sure Jerry would love a situation where the inmates are running the asylum.

I would see him coaching a highschool or smaller college team.

High school? Oookayyy.

Of course they do. They have their heads so far up their asses out there that they can suckle their own uvulas. Not only do they perpetually believe their team to be better than it actually is, they believe they have some birthright as a fanbase for their fantasies to be reality.

**** the Knicks. **** them now, and forever.

This post is staggeringly outdated.

Hard to believe that someone could confuse the Knicks -- a team that haven't won championship since the 70s -- with the Lakers/Celtics.

I could see him coaching the Bulls... He pretty much has his old team over there, sans that one guy that wore #8 that had the ego and thought he was bigger than him.

Except that the Bulls already have a coach that not only preaches defense, but actually enforces it.

I loved Jerry, hallowed be his name, but if I'm honest with myself I will admit that his legend out grew his performance, and to me it seemed that he had a difficult time adjusting to new styles, new ideas and new rules.

I wish him well in whatever he chooses, but hope that he will choose to be a legend rather than a washed up has been forcing a comeback.
