No, it is not. It shows that he has a chucker mentality and was left open to dare him to shoot the three. I can't see why shooting the ball more with the same ineffectiveness could be better.
It shows me that if he ever does decide to shoot the three less, and I would assume that with a good coach he would (Travis Ford is not a good coach)…and if he can shoot 29% on 5 attempts, then I would assume that he should be able to shoot a better percentage on a lower number of attempts.
Again, this is all dependent on him shooting the three less, but the main point of the argument was showing that the comparison to Tony Allen is terrible, and lazy.
