Hockey is cool though, and I guess people get paid. The fact is that it's a regional sport and most of America isn't able to be exposed to it. If you live in the South and want to play Hockey you have to have money to be able to access the facilities necessary. Eliminates a huge portion of the athletic population of America.

Also, even if they could, it would still be the 4th most popular sport. I'm guessing Hockey is the most popular in Canada, maybe 2nd behind soccer.

Hockey is definitely the most popular sport in Canada. Our culture is steeped, and embedded within it. Soccer, and basketball are both popular (soccer moreso, basketball continues to grow)-- but hockey is simply on another level IMO.

I can watch a sports event like a week after it happened and as long as I dont know what happened I'll still enjoy it.

You ever watch How I Met Your Mother?

There was a BAWSE episode of them recording the Superb Owl cuz one of em had to work and the episode was all about them trying to avoid figuring out what happened in the game before they could watch it. Reminded me of me.

Yeah that was a funny one. And in the end the effort came short. That's why I stopped trying that.

Phone rings...

UGLI baby (answers phone)- "Hey whats up, dont tell me the score of the Seahawks vs Niners game, I'm recording it."

Person calling- "WTF, I don't even watch football you weird ***."

UGLI baby- "I know, but just in case."

Spoiler alert! You *******, i had that episode of how i met your mother on my dvr and was going to watch it today but now i know what happens
