What's new

Someone make a game thread, and get rid of baseless hypothetical trade threads

What's the point of a god damn #12 overall draft pick. I'm not that old, but I'm not getting any younger, and I don't like watching seasons just wastefully go by.

Win or lose, AL has to go. He's a black hole. One good (lucky) shot does not make up for his insistence on always trying to make it through double or triple teams. Jazz need cutters and guys coming off curls, not the offense just stopping completely when the ball goes into Jefferson.

Which is exactly what happened with that game-tying shot. He got the ball and the other 4 guys froze in place.

Unreal, Al just watched the shot.

Un frickin real.

How in the hell are we supposed to be a team if the last 5 minutes is 1 person....really.

The same starters got us up by 18 when they played as a team.

Hayward took 0 shots in the 2nd half.

He pulls Burks just because he is a rookie.

He has 0 feel for the game(Ty)

Ty is dumber than a doorknob

Corbin's conservative substitutions are what drive me crazy! He has to hold players up to standards, not just the rookies. That's what makes great coaches. Corbin is coaching scared. Popovich, Jackson, and Sloan would bench any player on the team for not living up to the team standard. I just wish Corbin would show some courage.

Not to mention our 3pt defense. 1 player getting hot is one thing. A player getting hot the next game... sure, why not... but 3 games in a row? How does that happen? Is there no adjustment? Corbin = Sloan jr.

The jumpshot by Al was a really stupid one anyways. I don't know if Corbin drew it up or what, but it was a low percentage shot and entirely uncalled for in that situation.

He's lucky he made it, but of course he gives it right up on the other end. Get this clown off my team.

How the **** can Kanter only get 8 minutes and Favors 12? WTF? If this continues I'm quickly going to join the fire Corbin side.

Jefferson had 18 points on 20 damn shots. How can that and his pathetic defense relegate those 2 a combined 20 minutes? Please somebody explain how they are not each getting 20 MPG each right now and justify it.

I think the main problem tonight, and lately, is the 3 point shots. Jazz just don't defend it.

We kill teams in the paint, then leave them wide open for easy looks and they are knocking them down.
It's the main reason we lost to san antonio.

We had this game until minny gave it to their guards and let them fire away, and the jazz were all for it.

You guys are gonna blame that on Al????

Sure, why not. Where was the perimeter defense? Hayward got beat badly

On a pick and roll, when time is running out... It's the help side defender that needs to plug the lane. Jefferson did that yet forgot that he is 6'11" and the guy coming at him is 10 inches shorter. Put your hands up in the air ala Eaton for hells sakes and challenge him...... Yes that last play is on Jefferson as Hayward HAS to try to go over the screen otherwise he has an open jumper.

Same old same old. This has happened the past 3 games.
The Jazz have control of the game in the 4th, Corbin puts in an early substitution of Milsap and Jefferson, and we watch the game fall.

Favors: 12:16
Kanter: 8:04

And we traded D-Will for a guy getting 12 mins??

Almost chucked my remote at the TV, nice Big Al. Pretty much throw the game away by selfishly fighting through double teams, triple teams, missing rebounds, losing the ball, trying to redeem himself by tying the game, and always failing to play defense. Starters come in the last couple minutes and we lose. Ty is a GENIUS. I'm tired of watching the same idiotic plays called my Corbin OVER AND OVER AND OVER. I don't even know if a trade can save this team, because the Jazz and Corbin are now the laughing stock of the NBA. Embarrassing loss considering we had a 18 point lead for the starters to throw away. Ty doesn't know when to sit the starters, he's too smart to sit them. Starters = no defense, TY has failed to see that all year.
