0:00 End Game

3-8 by the two bigs in the last six minutes with no trips to the line, a turnover, three offensive rebounds given up, no defensive rebounds, one offensive rebound on a blocked shot, and an "and one" given up. When you go to Jefferson four times in a row in the clutch, and you get one basket, a .5 PPP really isn't very positive.

Jefferson did nothing to earn those minutes.

Havent seen some of the recent games yet so excuse the forward thinking. However if they keep losing with the vets you'd think it would be time to head down the youth path?

Jefferson stunk it up all night and yet Corbin trusted him with the ball down the stretch. All we got was missed shots and a turnover.

Oh and refusing to challenge Ridnour's game-winning floater.

Craig you're a delusional Jefferson homer.

The bench can't score! If you're not complaining about Jefferson you're crying about someone else. Guaranteed

NO NO! If we let Kanter have Jeffy's minutes, Kanter would average 25 points and 18 rebounds a game! GUARENTEED!

And the jazz would be winning games!

The thing of it is, we don't have a go-to-guy. A guy in the clutch who can create something. It doesn't matter the position he plays it just matters that he has the killer instict. Until we get that player there will be a lot of complaining. Jefferson and Milsap are complimentary players not finishers.

a.k.a we're cooked!

Until the roster is changed significantly, we're royally ****ed!

As most of us have seen or now accepted, Big Al and Sap don't work well together for an entire season. We'll see some great games from them, and people will
say they are the answer. Looking at the big picture though we can't escape the reality. One of these bigs needs to go. My vote is for Big Al.

That's where I disagree. With Jefferson we have a bigger lineup. Put Kanter or Favors beside him to guard the center and he isn't such a defensive liability. I don't think you can deny he has a great offensive game. Jefferson has gotten better over the past 2+ years and I see him continuing to do so. Milsap is a tweener and probably has more trade value due to the structure/amount of his contract. In a nutshell, I want to have a big front court.

That's been the elephant in the room. One of them needs to be traded. I never thought I'd ever say this, but if they dangle Al and can only get a franchise-type PG if they give up Sap - then I'd be willing to give up sap. But in a perfect world, yes, my vote would be for Al to be traded.

I just have to laugh.
Millsap and Jeffy are our best 2 players by far.

Yet everyone wants them gone.

Is anyone else sick of our wing play? Howard was good tonight, but he's been horrible lately
Hayward was great against Memphis, but since then, nothing
CJ has been awful for a long time.
Raja has been better, but just enough for everyone to stop hating him.
Burks does show some potential. In fact, I don't see why people aren't more mad about his minutes. At least he is showing something out there.

I mean, I could understand wanting Kanter and Favors more minutes if they were doing something with the minutes they get. I want them to do well, they just aren't!
But Burkes is doing something with his minutes, but everyone cries about Al.

they are just both such individual players and are so poor on the defensive end (al especially) i think if we could move al and get a serious threat form outside (who can defend) we would be doing much better. maybe if we started running offence for players like hayward we would start seeing their true value.

also, i question whether you even watch kanter and favors, or considering how much love you have for big al, maybe you think the only valuable thing a player can do is score (which they would do better if they had more time to develop anyway)
