What's new

Special Sunday edition: Angels on the Hardwood -- Jazz @ Warriors 3/25/2018 6:30 pm MST

Great athlete. High upside. High character. No more Trey Burke players. Give me a shot at Giannis or Mitchell with every pick please.

DL will find him.

High Character = win or loss he will bake Totino's Pizza Rolls for his teammates. I think Mitchell would do that.

Any other interesting tidbits?

Mitchell is the cool kid and everybody in the building knows it and treats him as such. Many of the assistant coaches and players were routinely impressed by the plays he made - they turn and talk to each other about them. Donovan got a kick out of Stockton blowing on his hands when entering the game. Stockton is tiny. Thabo is great, especially with how he encourages Crowder. Crowder wears some thingy around his abdomen a lot that I don't know what it is. Looks like one those vibrating bands from the 90s that was supposed to give you abs.

Yeah, a lot of dudes wear those now.

Who is the most vocal Jazz player from the bench?

So much for worrying about this game. Nice games all around for the most part. I was really impressed with Exum's minutes. His ability to get to the basket and to finish there has improved a ton. Good for him. It was also nice to see Stockton record some points in a Jazz uniform as well.

Mostly the guys that don't play much have the most opportunity and are pretty vocal - Stockton and Niang. Thabo was quite vocal as well. Mitchell was probably the most vocal of the main rotation guys, but it's hard to say because of the way everything centers around him - he has an impressive aura.

Did you talk to any of them?

It’s crazy how quickly he’s taken fully over so quickly...but good for sure. It’s not hard to see he’s “that guy”.
