The most likely outcome is Gallinari, 2023 1st (ATL), 2023 1st (CHA), 2025 1st (ATL)Spurs aren't going to get 4 1st round picks for Murray
right and i think most fans did too. but this year was the nail in the coffin for most fans, and hopefully, for the front office.I think the team remained optimistic because we lost to Denver in the Covid year without Bojan and the Clippers without Mike.
We had a chance to sell high on Joe and possibly Bogey while also letting Conley walk last offseason and butchered it.right and i think most fans did too. but this year was the nail in the coffin for most fans, and hopefully, for the front office.
Almost forcing a Game 7 against a team that was missing their MVP candidate for the first 3 games. PatheticYeah people forget that we had the best record in the NBA last season, lol. Even this year we won 49 games and were a Bojan buzzer beater away from forcing a game 7 against Dallas.
Letting Conley walk would have been dumb as hell. You can still get value for him, especially if you want to tankWe had a chance to sell high on Joe and possibly Bogey while also letting Conley walk last offseason and butchered it.
Largely because Ingles got hurt and the loss of Niang.right and i think most fans did too. but this year was the nail in the coffin for most fans, and hopefully, for the front office.
What do you think we can realistically get back for him?Letting Conley walk would have been dumb as hell. You can still get value for him, especially if you want to tank
They had fellow max contract player Jalen Brunson leading the way.Almost forcing a Game 7 against a team that was missing their MVP candidate for the first 3 games. Pathetic
If they are just tanking? They can get back a first for sure, especially if you are taking back unwanted salaryWhat do you think we can realistically get back for him?
The only mistake was I think we basically had his name off the trade table at the deadline last year. If we wanted to move him then we probably could have done better than we would after his poor playoff. It would have hurt our chances to do something in the postseason last year so its easy to understand why we didn't do anything there.Letting Conley walk would have been dumb as hell. Oh wow, a smart organization sees they have an overrated player who will never win them a ring and they are going to act accordingly to tank and get into a star studded draft while loading up on assets?
What's the latest rumor? So now it looks like the Spurs won't be trading him, lol. So the Jazz should just aim to be a 35 win team like the Spurs?
Per LJ Ellis of Spurs Talk, the only player San Antonio actually wants from Atlanta is Onyeka Okongwu. Also, despite BR’s Jake Fischer reporting that the Spurs are looking for three first-rounders in a possible deal for Murray, that’s also false. Ellis notes Gregg Popovich’s squad would take no less than four unprotected first-round picks. There’s talk that the Spurs are looking to trade Murray for three first round draft picks. I’m told that is incorrect. San Antonio’s asking price for Murray is four first round draft picks with little to no protections. Alternatively, the Spurs want three minimally protected first rounders and two unprotected first round pick swaps. What's the latest rumor?
If only we had been a 35 win team for years with like 6 wings 23 or under, if only...SO jealous
The Spurs were easily able to trade one player while getting back a dude they'll waive and be in the running for the #1 pick. We'd have to move off of like $70-80M in salary.
It's much easier to move off of Murray at $18M while taking back Gallo when they already have a ton of cap space then it is to move off of Rudy at $38M and Don at $30M...![]()
If we're going to honor to process, this would be the starting point methinks.
