STAYWARD

Anybody that thinks Boston is giving us a damn thing is out of their mind. They don't have to and won't.
Unless hayward were to tell them they have to.

Very very unlikely but a possibility nonetheless.

Really? Didn't realize that. So the incumbent team is the only team that can sign them to that extra year? No sign and trade with that year?

All reports have been he doesnt want the 5 years anyway. Probably wants a 3+1 so he can be a free agent w/ 10 years xp.

Has anyone read Celtic forums? Some people think Pat Riley was the leak. Lol. If you read @tribjazz article they mention Gordon is deciding between Utah and Boston. Nothing about Miami. What if he did call Riley to say he eliminated the Heat.
Just a thought.

If it is a sign and trade then Brown is the guy I want to build around. Boston will have Tatum, Brown, Crowder, Hayward all playing the 3. Very crowded.

Brown in a S&T makes me feel better if Hayward is gone. Crowder is a good player, but Brown gives us a building piece. If it really is a S&T and Boston doesn't want this to lag out to the point that Hayward changes his mind again... who knows.

I noticed another twitter feed almost immediately after the #fakenews broke that said Jaylen Brown is unnecessary for Boston and that they have to renounce Olynyk and half a dozen other players upon signing Hayward.
I heard Boston and Indiana couldn't agree on a trade for PG partially because Boston wouldn't trade Brown
If that is the best offer Jazz say no. Their cap room this year is more valuable then a player that will be gone after this year. A sign and trade would be doing Celtics a favor since they need to cut salary. Jazz could ask for something they might want like Crowder or tell them no thanks and try and sign someone like Gallo.

I must be slow at this party? How could we be able to sign Gallo. I was under the impression we would be 5millian under the cap if Hayward doesn't come back. Am I missing something?

Hmm.. gonna make a prediction here since this is taking way to long.

I'm thinking Hayward has decided on BOS or MIA, but is trying to work out a sign and trade so Utah gets something back in the process, i.e., what Chris Paul did to go from LAC to HOU. Maybe he's looking to get Utah one of BOS's lottery picks in the process?

I have a feeling he's the kind of guy who doesn't like to burn all his bridges and would look to make this a win-win-win situation for all.

Would be a fitting end to this shot show.

If he goes to Miami, I get it. Miami is a great place to live in the winter, basically as good as it gets. I get that line of thought and can't knock it.

I just don't Boston that much. He can't be the man on that team and their future is rooted in rookies who havent proven anything as well as the rumor Lebron *might* leave.

So I just woke up to see this craziness... Wow. Judging by the fact that Woj, Shams and all of Jazz insiders (Jones, Genessy, Locke, and so forth) never posted any knowledge of a Hayward decision, and that Steve Starks and the Jazz believe no decision has been made, I tend to believe no decision has actually been made.

Either this "source" misinterpreted what he heard or he jumped the gun early or both. It's clear that Gordon is undecided and wavering back and forth. Please stay Gordon...

Let's hope he cares about more important things than the ****ing weather.
