I started reading The Dark Tower series. I'm up to book six now. I want to finish before the movie comes out. But, reading through the Dark Tower, it crosses into other books in his universe (as you probably know) so I went back and read The Eyes of the Dragon (The Man in Black/Flagg) and Salem's Lot (Callahan) and Insomnia (Patrick) and Desperation (the turtle)...btw, I LOVED Desperation. I want to read The Regulators.

I've read a bunch of his other stuff back in high school but that was a long time ago.

I did just finish the "End of Watch" trilogy. I cried in a couple of the books. Good stuff.

I still have to read the third book in the end of watch trilogy. Waiting for the price to come down a bit.

I didn't like regulators. Liked desperation though.

You choose some good ones for dark tower tie ins..... but you must read the talisman and black house. Both great books that tie in to the dark tower.

I like needful things a lot too. (Very loosely related to the dark tower)

The Talisman and Black House. Done, added to the list. Yeah, right now I'm about halfway through Song of Susannah and Salem's Lot.

Tbh, revival is a great book but not one that I consider a "dark tower book" and if you are in the dark tower world already then I say just continue with those books first. Read talisman and black house while you are in dark tower mode.

Come back around to revival later would be my advice

Book 7 is great.... I struggled with song if susannah tbh.
I'm always jealous of people reading the dark tower for their first time (I have read the whole series many times).
My wife read the series last year acc she says that she will always remember 2015 as the dark tower year lol.

I've just been really bad about reading the last year. I go through stretches where I'm reading a couple of books per week then I'll go months without reading anything.

4 episodes in and I'm finally loving this show. Felt like I was transported in time.


Personally I've always loved 80's music anyway so this was just great.

I was thinking that, too, but here's how I figure it: There's no way you could do a different story with those kids, it would just seem too contrived, and, well, you don't want to lose those kids. They're freaking gold.

Kids going to get older though. How gold are they going to be at 16?

GREAT ENDING... wow... gives you all the closure you need, but at the same time hands you enough intrigue there to leave you 'hanging' for Season 2.



FANTASTIC.
