Stupid Pet Peeves

There has to be at least one butcher in SLC, it's impossible that there isn't. There are butchers in towns of 10,000 people.

And yes, through a simple google search, there are plenty of butcher/meat shops in SLC.

Google maps says the closest one to my house is 12 miles (17 mins) away. Costco is 2.5 miles away.

I rarely ever buy beef from a store. Kill most of my meat (deer, antelope, elk), and split a cow with my parents that we get from my grandpa. Saves a ton of money. My pet peeve is grocery store steak.

ALWAYS go to the local meat locker. I haven't bought a supermarket steak in a very long time.

Grocery shoppers that take something off the shelf, take 5 steps, place said item on another shelf and walk away. You lazy mother****ers.

My pet peeve is live chickens. They are such a pain in the *** to prep for dinner.

I just go to the Super market and get my chicken already deep fried. For a good deal too. Having to raise your own chickens is a pain in the ***.

So where do you get your chicken fried steak?

Electric car charging stations that take up normal parking spots in the very front of busy places. I park in them every time I see one, hoping some Nissian Leaf owner is waiting around for me to pop out of the place so he can give me an ear full.

Bro. Do you know where I work? Rampant Gov't waste in this section. Huge pet peeve.

Anyway, gov't waste translates into private sector jobs and way way way out on the margin improvement that is as meaningless in the big picture as it gets, so whatevs.

I'm guessing he likes hunting animals and also knows somebody who raises good beef that he can get on the cheap, saving money over average quality grocery store beef.

Howard, my neighbor killed an antelope and ice packed it right away. Claims the steaks are as good as quality sirloin. I've heard this several times and I've heard the opposite. Is this true? If so, I'm going to nail the next one of those railroad suicide ****ers attempting to cross my path on the highway.

Antelope is my favorite, then elk, then deer. Honestly, it depends on what it's been eating and whether it was running a lot when you killed it or not. Impacts the taste a lot. Antelope is sweeter than beef, leaner, and I just prefer the taste. Important to get the ice pack down right away if it's hot out when you shoot it.
