That Geamble guy is intriguing.. he just blocked a 3pt shot. He can hit 3's too.

You mean Gelabale? He was a backup for Seattle quite a few years ago. He's 32 now.

As for De Colo, I wonder if someone gives him another shot. He was in SA, then played for Toronto. Can he defend?

DeColo led all scorers with 15 points.

France's roster:
Current NBA players: Gobert, Parker, Fournier, Batum, Lauvergne, Diaw
Former NBA players: De Colo, Gelabale

Did I miss any? I know Serbia played better in group play, but France's roster seems very strong.

I thought so, too. But it's Florent Pietrus, his older brother, IINM. Lauvergne is breaking out in this tournament. Will be interesting to see what kind of season he has with Denver.

Greece-Spain should be a great game.

One fella tweeted him
"Now reverse ah ah"
He once tweeted "hahhahaahahaah" after a loss. That's why people are super mad at him.

First off, I mean no disrespect to the posters from Turkey on this forum. As I've said before, you guys are great for being fans of the team and not just Memo or Enes. As an American Jazz fan, I have no non-US ties. When Memo was here, I wanted Turkey to do well, along with AK and Russia. For this tournament, my loyalties have been with France and Germany.

But - and I apologize for this - I take pleasure in Turkey being ousted by Gobert/France and Enes' reaction. In typical Kanter fashion, he is 100% about himself. I'm sure his inclusion on the national team would have made all the difference.

And now that you mention it, fufo, I do remember that comment after a loss. Next to the definition of ******* , they should put a picture of Kanter's face.

Do I hate Kanter? Just a bit. ;)

First of all, I hate him as well. Mostly because of his childish, butt-hurt, immature statements about the Jazz organization, the team drafted him with full trust eventhough he hadn't even played a minute in college. (Shipped Big Al-Millsap, opened room for him, did everything they could) You can not hear that type of unprofessional, classless thoughts from any of the Turkish players. Hedo, Ersan, Ömer, Furkan or even Zaza Pachulia (who raised in Turkey). 0 possibility. Personally, i believe Turkey's reputation in the NBA went down with his statements.

However, exclusion of Enes was a 99% political decision, (not because he rejected the invite in the past) so i can't blame him that much. I do not support both of these political communities neither current ruling party in Turkey nor the community Enes supports. He even promotes the organization heavily.

Politics can't be, should not be a part of sports. He should've been invited.

I still hate him.
