Summer League: Jazz vs. Pacers Thursday 1 pm MST

Due to various tweets, interviews and articles last year I was under the impression that the Jazz org was having Kanter focus on low post play specifically. Perhaps that is still the case and why Kanter is not shooting Js.

Well, it needs to stop. Let him play his game.

well, this game sums much we knew about Kanter anyway... horrible passing, horrible pick and roll skills, great rebounding, no elevation, good post offense, no mid range game, good post defense, poor help defense.

His mid range jumper is good.

He's averaging almost 2 assists in SL, even if he has turned it over a lot.

I believe the lack is mid-range game is completely due to confidence and decision-making issues. He can make an 15 footer.

"Enes Kanter looks more like a guy who is trying to latch onto a NBA roster than someone who was drafted 3rd overall here in Orlando so far."

The word "bust" keeps coming to mind. :(

He was drafted as a project. What do people not understand about this?

I feel bad for Enes, because people are going to make too much of 3 or 4 games of ****ing summer league. He belongs in the NBA; he's looking for an offensive identity. Is anybody with 2 brain cells surprised he's still looking for that?

Kanter playing better but he still holds the ball too much instead of passing out of double team. Double-Double but 6 TOs.

Wow I am really glad the Pacers traded for Orlando Johnson before we could draft him. He has been terrible.

He's learning though. I've seen him make a few moves that actually required him to set up his defender. He's making mistakes, but at 20 years old what are you really expecting? It's going to take a while, but he'll be a nice player.

Kanter has a double double in the third quarter and people are crying that he's a bust.

Shut your vag.

I am probably being too hard on Kanter. I would like him to succeed. I just have been hoping for more. When I think about Favors (3rd pick), I see potential greatness/all-star potential. When I think about Kanter (3rd pick), I see "serviceable big man."

I see more than just a potential serviceable big man, especially compared to the average NBA center these days.

Why does it matter where he was drafted? Now if Valacius come into Toronto and is awesome then I can see a reason to be upset. But so far his draft class has been pretty weak.
