Lonzo Ball is such a unique player, not sure anyone like him has ever existed. I dont think he is ever going to put up great individual stats, but he definitely makes his teammates better just being on the court.

No, I think he is different than Kidd too. Kidd was a lot more athletic and could attack.

Durant plays strong at least. He doesn't let others or the game dictate what he can or can't do. Exam has a nice frame to add another 5-7 pounds of really lean muscle and strength (without losing his quickness), to fill out nicely, and play the game like the man I know he can be.

Durant can play strong knowing that the refs are going to protect him. If you touch him he is going to the line. Nobody is going to bodyslam him. That simply isn't true with Exum. Dude gets destroyed with no call consistently. They did the same thing to Haywood, which might have led to a bit of his small market anxiety.

Watching Lakers summer league play. Lonzo Ball defensively stinks badly and can't do PnR. He plays somewhat the perimeter and drive and dish but that is it. He doesn't pop out as a player like Mitchell does. He is just not as imposing and scary as Mitchell is, if I was an opponent. I am so glad we drafted SpidaMan!

Wow. 1/11? And I thought Mitchell was chucking in the last two games. One thing I loved about Mitchell was that he seemed to realize that his shot was off and moved his focus to defense and helping get Exum his spots for the comeback against Boston.

It was rough, but in the first half he looked really good with his passing ability.

He is a guy who needs to play with good players and he will make them way better.

Also, I think that the Jazz summer league team (Mitchell and Exum especially) realized how important it was for the fans that they not lose to Boston. They definitely finished the game with intensity and urgency.
