Sushi!

This subject is all relative. I am not Asian and even though not natively from the US my food taste is pretty much western but to me cow's tongue (when properly cleaned and prepared) is a great delicacy. A friend cooked some last week and it was heaven. Tripe soup with extra garlic at lunch after heavy night of drinking is just a lifesaver. Young lamb's small intestines baked with red pepper are delicious. I do eat salted pork fat with garlic and strong "rakija" on the side once in a while. I think my boundaries were pushed when, back in my native country, my wife ordered and got served baked lamb's head. It comes with pretty much everything but the skin. Those large lifeless eyes looking back at me from the plate pretty much killed my appetite.

I've eaten, and do like, beef tongue. It's like the most tender roast beef you'll ever have.

That being said I'll have to pass on everything else you've listed. There's just too much pizza to be eaten to even think about eating the things you like.

Mmm...I love cow's tongue, tripe and intestines! Chicken hearts and balut eggs are good too!

Anyway, back to sushi. I work at a sushi place, and think some of our rolls are muy bueno! However, I'm not gonna tell you where it is because I hate the people who own the restaurant so much that I don't want to help their business. :D

I don't know why so many people like Simply Sushi. They put way too much rice in their rolls.

Annoying isn't the word I'd use to describe Baltar. If I could only use one word it be "snake". But that would leave out smug, self serving and condescending. Oh, and short.

So you think Im a snake? Someone who essentially cant be trusted? I am short. Yes.

And their rice is sub standard. I might eat there, but my wife is picky about such things.

This. As an fortunate survivor, I can testify it is the truth.

Sushi is always a game of russian roulette. It is raw fish after all. I have eaten at countless all you can eat sushi spots (in Reno it is about all there is) and the only time I have gotten sick was at a sushi place in Florida (Melbourne I think). It was very expensive per roll and piece prices. I thought it all tasted fine, not the best ever but my friend highly recommended it as it was his favorite place and I knew he was a sushi snob, as am I in lots of ways. I was sick as a dog for a week after that. It is all about cleanliness and preparation conditions. Some of the all you can eat places do serve substandard fish, but so do some regular spots as well.

That is why I recommend Sushi Yah in slc. Ate there dozens of times in the three years I was acquainted with the place. Never had a single issue. Always loved the fish and the unique variety of rolls.

Simply Sushi is what got me. A 911 call in the middle of the night, emergency room stay and a week on toasted bread and water and feeling like **** is enough for me. Now I trust the sushi only in Kyoto. As LogGrad says above, sushi is russian roulette, but they put too many bullets in their barrels in that place.

Well thats the thing. It shouldnt be. But, again, the farther you get away from the ocean, the dicier it gets. There are restaurants in Las Vegas that buy their fish fresh...every day from the fish markets in Downtown LA. Also, the sooner you eat the fish after its killed, the fresher its going to be.

No. The word snake describes Baltar. You're taking this way too seriously.

It just kind of hurt my feelings man. I never want to be known as some sort of snake.

Here you go VINYLONE, let's put this Baltar nonsense behind us and begin the healing process, you delicate, precious little guy, you.

BSG is on netflix instant view.

Just so you know, Blatar is responsible for the death of the Human race, save those on the Battle Star Galactica.

Yet his biggest concern was what would happen to him. Even in the face of being found out and strung up he was still a condescending, holier than thou prick that rubbed everyone the wrong way.
