Hadn't even heard about it til now and I just read an article. Dude has admitted to using an illegal substance for five years. Silver should give him a solid suspension, like 10 games or so imo. Maybe longer. Set the precedent.
 
I'd be surprised if they suspend Howard, but I expect a hefty fine for him and a good one for the rockets assistant coach.

Harden is being held out of practice with a sore ankle.

Here is the Howard quote:

Howard was not penalized. He said after the game, a 109-97 loss in which he shot just 2-of-7 from the field, that he has openly sprayed the sticky substance on his hands for the past five years.

"I don't know why people are making a big deal out of it," he said, according to the Houston Chronicle. "I do it every game. It's not a big deal. I ain't tripping."
 
Well we've set ourselves up for the Houston game to be real interesting. Hopefully we actually show up with some grit like tonight. Time to start our ascent to the playoffs.

Why would it be illegal? Just like baseball players using rosin when they go to bat. Been doing that since the beginning of baseball. In any case, I would think that to be a disadvantage for most players but maybe big guys like Rudy need it.
 
Missed the game tonight, but just found out that it earned another plop, a big yellow one running down the shoulder.

Knew this game was a win from the very first post. I vote that CL officially start every game thread to finish out the season. Lucky butts get it done again.
 
This has probably been said already, but we had 37(!) attempted 3's last night compared to Chicago's game with 27... Oh and Milwaukee had 8...lol
