I just saw this video. Sorry if anyone else has posted this before.
Made me sick to be honest.

But to be honest I still want the Jazz to lose so Corbin gets fired. So I don't really care.

I do have 6th row seats to the Nuggets game tomorrow. Not sure who I am voting for........ :)

If it is the video I saw then I am not impressed. It notices blown calls from several games. You can make a similar videos about any team in the league.

Not true... but, I guess that makes it okay then...

Honestly, this is how Phil Jackson got so many rings. All he needed to do was keep the game close and put the onus on the refs to make the calls. And when you have a close game, with two fairly evenly matched teams, it sometimes only takes 1-2 blatantly bad/missed calls to give one team the win over the other.

Stick your head in the sand about it all you want. But, you know deep down we're all just watching a glorified WWE match on most nights, and everyone knows it.

That's why, after 98-99, when I was 18 years old, I knew to try to never fully emotionally attach myself to a basketball team/game ever again. I can't say I've been successful at that, but after the season's over, and the Jazz are out, I look back at the last games/playoff series/etc. and see the blatant one-sided miscalls and realize again and again that there is no chance for the Jazz to win a championship as long as the NBA feels it needs to cater to it's big names, stars, and franchises.

Since I've been born, in 32 years, only 10 different teams have won the NBA championship and only 4 different Western Conf teams. Lakers (10), Spurs (4), Rockets (2), Mavs (1).

Utah won't ever get one, as long as the refs have an agenda and can purposefully sway a game one way or the other depending on who their bosses want them to win.

David stern loves the lakers that's why he allowed them to trade for cp3 and why the clippers are screwed with 100 year old Steve Nash running the point. Damn that stern! Always looking out for his lakers!!!

Right, because when people cheat at cards they always deal their self a straight flush. I mean, why not?

So I'm confused did CP still end up in LA? Did Dwight end up in LA? So what's better one team good team in LA or two. What is better CP and Kobe in LA or CP & Griffin and then Kobe & Howard?

The Sacramento game is disgusting. They don't call anything initially, the shot misses, Kobe freaks out, and THEN they blow the whistle?

Yes, true. Also I never said it was ok. It just makes proving imbalance in favor of one team harder to prove so I am not overly impressed by a video taken from several games with bad/blown calls.

No question that refs blow calls. No question that stars get better treatment and clearly home teams often get a benefit. But if you believe the league is rigged and are still a fan you need help.

There is no question that refs favor some teams, so how do you explain your being a fan?

The lakers are a good team?

If having 2 good teams in la was Stern's priority why did he wait until the last year of his reign to do it? Why didn't he do this in the previous decade? Or the previous decade before that? Just how many times have the clippers made it to the finals under stern? How many playoff appearances???

Yep. Definitely a controversy there.

Oh, and stern loves the New York Knicks. Which is why he has rigged things so that they could dominate. Just look at how many championships they have under stern!

Stern also hates small market teams, which is why Utah could never make the playoffs in the 90s or 2000s.... And why San Antonio has been so crappy over the past 20 years...

Definitely a conspiracy!

sound and fury signifying nothing ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

As opposed to a random youtube video that only shows bad calls? Maybe there is a conspiracy but that video is proof of nothing beyond some bad calls.

I actually don't believe most of what is said (or what I typed) I just thought of it after reading your post and thought it'd be fun to get your dandruff all kicked up. So with that said I don't believe that there is some big conspiracy but on a few occasions I have wondered if the NBA helps it's self by influencing things from time to time.

If I believed them it would make the game not fun for me to watch and I would quit watching. Although the way the NBA handles the rumors and accusations and what not does leave a lot to be desired.
Other then Soccer (which some euro leagues and/or countries had been found guilty of it) the NBA is the only league that gets these rumors or accusations more than just the occasional bad call.

But just for fun I'll answer your questions.
The NBA doesn't out right fix games or stack teams they just influence and the Knicks were such a train wreck nothing could be done until they helped themselves first. That's why they couldn't help the Clipps until recently after finally spending money and managing to keep Griffin & Jordan so he helped them with CP.
Under Jerry Buss LA was a very well run franchise so it is easy to give them Kobe on draft day trade, Gasol and Dwight, always keeping a big name with the team.
The Spurs is the "David" in the David & Goliath story makes for good drama and what not. Again the Spurs have helped themselves by being bad in the right years then it is easy to make sure they get Robinson and Duncan and then being a very good run organization they also continued to help themselves.

*again I don't believe all that just having fun*

As opposed to a random youtube video that only shows bad calls? Maybe there is a conspiracy but that video is proof of nothing beyond multiple terrible calls at the end of close games all favoring the same team within a one month span.
