Well, I think we can safely say Philadelphia, NY and Minnesota are locks for the 3 worst records. The surprising thing to me is that I thought Philly would EASILY out-tank everyone else. Not that easy
Indiana and Detroit picked up wins. Close miss for LA. Not much separation for the teams 4-11. Jazz are currently #7.
It's going to be interesting to see how long Kanter remains as a starter. Moving Gobert into the starting lineup will damage the tank in a big way, but I don't know if you can continue justify Kanter starting when Gobert is so much better. Our tanking skills will be rigorously tested by the Rudy.

ThisI don't know that it damages the tank that much. Kanter still gets his minutes off the bench. Jazz are 3-5 in their last eight, with Rudy playing >=29 mins in all but one game (the Laker win). Going back a little further, in the other games in which he had >25 mins, the Jazz were only 1-4. Put him in with the starters and the bench is a lot weaker. When a team has a rotation of Ingles, Hood and Millsap at SG, they're not going to win a ton of games.

Start rudy. We still will lose lots. Maybe win a couple more games but nothing drastic
Yeah. Right. Tanking.
Maybe highballing Kant so get smth valuable in return? But yeah. You are right. No instant wins.Call it development or whatever you want, but Utah is not making decisions based on immediate wins, otherwise Rudy would have bee the starter already.

The Jazz have now played 41 games, half the season.
They have the same record as they had last year--14/27.
Carry on.

I don;t get this concept of showcasing a player to increase his value. In any event he's decreasing it with his game play. We're not going to get much in return for Kanter if he keeps playing so poorly like he has been, it is what it is. I say play who earns it the most, and we all know who that is.
I think rudy does not effect our wins and losses all that much..... we suck as a team and are going to get beat alot. What starting rudy does, imo, is make us stay closer in the games that we loseStarting Rudy sets the tone for the game. If it doesn't damage the tank, then why does anyone care about Rudy starting? I'm pretty sure nobody would care if they believed it didn't make a difference.

Anyway, it's going to be harder and harder to keep Rudy out of the starting lineup, so I guess we'll see just how committed the FO is to the tank. Starting Rudy definitely will make a difference.
