If SJF typed "2+2=5" and I said "No, that is 4" then FOJ would interject with "Yeah but we all know he meant to say 4 you are a dick for arguing with him".
Others could discuss his post without the clarification. How the **** is what I said to him an argument? I told him the list was people's big board, not a mock draft.
Once he responds with: "Yeah I meant to say that I just mistyped" or "Oh ****, didnt realize that thanks for pointing that out" then the exchange is done. It's not an argument.

I understand that you are unable too. That must suck.
I'm sure you can and would talk about this misfortunate misuse of a word all day long but that sounds uninteresting to me and a big waste of time so I'm not responding to anymore of your posts on this subject.
Good day, Carry on.
I bet their "big boards" end up being more accurate than their "mock drafts" at least half the time. Maintaining two lists always seemed pretty pointless imo.
Draft coverage can be considered entirely pointless in that case. What choices do we make that affect the draft? This is all for our amusement, so is it all pointless?
I mean for the same person to have two seperate lists doesn't make sense. GMs go with the best player 9/10 times, so if we keep things simple and just pick the best player at the spot, you'll probably also end up with the best "mock" draft.
Your logic makes no sense to me.
Big Boards are your opinion of who you think the best prospects are.
Mock drafts are you trying to predict the behavior of the 30 teams and what their individual big boards could be in the context of the draft.
Very important to have two separate list if you want to differentiate your skills of scouting and ability to predict team's decisions. If you just want to make one list and predict that 30 NBA teams are in complete alignment with your individual big board, then go ahead.
It's not a mock draft dude, it's his big board.
lol. his big board seems effed up....
**** it. I want Justin Patton at 24. I think he can play the 4 and become a stretch 4, given his 3% last year (on 0.4 attempts but still) and background--he was 6'1" as a HS frosh and a guard.
Worst case, we will get 15 great minutes behind Gobert. But I really think he can play the 4 too. Dude is quick and very athletic and bouncy. I love the idea of having a twin towers ala Sampson and Akeem. Minus the career ending injury of course.
Our defense could be sick and this could be our counter-punch to Dubs small ball. Throw insane length out there to defend them and more importantly, on the offensive end, kill them inside to get their thin frontline into foul trouble. Patton's FT% is a concern but he has good form and shot well on minimal attempts from 3 and def can get to 70% I think. Maybe 75%.

Ehh, it's just his opinion. I agree with some of it. I think Bam sucks and he agrees with me.
I'm saying you (and even the "expert" sites) would be more accurate just doing your best big board rather that trying to get inside the heads of a war room you have 0 outside information on. I don't want to spoil anyones fun though so if you enjoy it, go for it.
just his opinion seems effed up.
ftr, i agree with some of it as well - for example, i too agree Fultz should be the top pick in the draft. similar to him, i think Jarrett Allen is worthy of #11 overall. but yeah, overall his BIG BOARD/just his opinion seems effed up.
You aren't counter punching the Dubs with twin towers. They put KD at the 4 and who guards him? Justin Patton?
Yep. Kid is long and quick.
