Guy has the Mack game of Steve Urkel on the court. Jarron Collins has more Mack than this guy. I don't care what my homeboy Cy says about him, but everytime this guy gets on the court I get VEWY VEWY nervous (Elmer fudd voice)

*pics to come later

Mack is gone when Hayward comes back.

JJ will get all backup SG minutes and Dante should get the backup 1s. Ingles gets backup 3 until Burks returns

Hayward is back. Minutes will start abjusting on the wings. Let's see how.

I think he looks for his shot too much. When he's not on, he's really, really off, and it hurts with our roster since both Hayward and Burks are out, so we don't have as much bench scoring as we should.

Move Johnson or Hood to the bench when Hayward returns and Mack should start to settle in and defer more to Hayward, Hood, Johnson, and Hill

People forget how good Mack was last year when he came in and literally became our best point guard. He moved the ball, didn't force anything, and was actually a threat on the offensive end.

Right now he's playing a role off of the bench that he's simply just not suited for. He's compensating for the loss of Burks and the Hayward injury, which forces Johnson into the lineup.

Mack will be fine once we are able to keep one of Hayward, Hill, or Hood on the floor at all times. Because right now, his only option off the bench is Lyles, who is struggling.

Maybe, but he makes some cringeworthy moves at times. He is readable too.. He either goes right, gets trapped in the low/high post, passes a wild pass at a PF/C's legs, or shoots a very ill advised shot.

No debating that at all. Last night was cursing at my screen when Mack kept. on. shooting.

He is a frustrating player to watch. He has great games (@San Antonio) every now and then, where he makes all the right choices and knocks down his shots. Then he has games like last night where he just looks lost, and his only hope is to keep shooting.

Crazy how perception of a player can change when you start comparing him to Hill and Exum instead of Burke and Neto. Who was comparing Mack to Hill favorably this summer? That was hilarious.

Mack was frustrating to watch at times last season too. The alternative was awful so no one cared. I like Mack and he's a nice guy to have on the roster but there is no doubt that his role is still too large. A lot of that is necessity but not all of it. At times other players will be frustrating to watch as well but it's easier to swallow when you know it is a necessary part of their development and that they are key to this teams future. Mack will likely be gone this off season in search of a bigger role or perhaps he will even get a contract that we just cannot consider. (Money is about to get tight for the Jazz)
