His handle is loose sometimes because he is not in great nba shape. I think he is a point guard only and that's a position you only get better at by playing.
HAHAHAHAHA Ill crush you in a pissing match on this subject, Whats the basis behind that statement?
Ive seen all the Exum footage to be found, read all the local articles on him throughout the years, and I vehemently disagree and can produce a ton of footage of him going left with spectacular results. He also finishes well with his left hand around the basket.
I'll start with this.. Isnt his "signature crossover" going left?

Well the signature move is just him making 1-3 straight-line dribbles going left. It doesn't take much of a left hand to do the move as much as it does just having really good acceleration.
Not commenting on his lack of/strength of left hand (haven't seen enough), but being able to do that move doesn't prove he has an advanced left hand.

I suppose we'll just have to wait until the season starts and we can observe how the opposition defends him.
wut, straightline dribbles? im talking about a crossover to the left.
Dante Exum's first step is just as good going left as it is going right, thats something i noticed about a year ago.
He finishes well with his left around the basket, how the hell does he 'have no left hand'
So for those proposing we move Trey to the bench, at this point what is your starting lineup?
Exum
Burks
Hayward
Kanter
Favors
Cause I'm not gonna lie. That gives me a boner.
I have no problem with this in SL but did anyone else feel like Exum sort of hogged the ball once it touched his hands last night? I could be imagining this tbh and SL is a whole 'nother brand of basketball. Just something that crossed my mind at a certain point. It, admittedly, could be entirely inaccurate.

He makes a simple cross over from right to left. The dribble move isn't advanced at all, and is more or less a straight line to the basket after the initial cross. It's a move anyone can make (only works if you have the ability to accelerate though), you don't need much of a left hand to pull it off.

Thats gotta be one of the dumbest posts Cy has made. With all due respect, if that was the case, every wing in the league would have a killer crossover.
Trey will never like being second fiddle to Exum.Trey was freezing Dante out last night and on 1 play pissed Exum off with Dante throwing his hands in the air standing wide open.We have Exum and Trey hasn't ruined his stock.I don't think these 2 can play together because they both want to be lead dog. When rubber hits the road Im choosing Exum every time.Get something for Trey now and bring over Neto or sign a PG to play behind Exum, Dante is a point guard and needs as many minutes playing only that.
Handle is loose because he is a taller player. All taller PG's have this problem. He will have to get better. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to more pressure from smaller/quicker guards.
I would say that minutes can be staggered so that you have someone (hayward, burks, exum, kanter) who can carry the second unit at all timesOnly thing I don't like is that I feel the 2nd unit would be too weak without Burks.
Can Burke carry a 2nd unit? Do we want him to try?
I know Burks can do those things pretty well and actually make the 2nd unit a strength.
