The Walking Dead

Possible finale spoiler:

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, the actor who plays Rick says that 27 "characters" are killed in the finale. Based on the books, I have an idea of who some of them are but if 27 is accurate, then most of them will be fringe characters from Woodbury. Needless to say, ****'s about to get real and a major shift in the series is about to happen.

feels good to feel good about this show again. that last episode was great, even though i question the writers' decision to cull merle... possibly the only truly compelling character left in the cast. the way he flipped the michonne decision back on rick was nice. the face-off with daryl actually resonated emotionally (can't remember the last time that happened on TWD... maybe when carl had to do in lori). the michonne and merle stuff was well done. plus they actually handled the glen and maggie proposal with subtlety. was expecting some seriously cornball crap there. credit to the writers. wonder if it was the same key ppl that wrote that greatrick/carl/michonne mini-story. sack everyone else please.

warning alert alert....spolier s03e15

Merle was possibly the best actor on the show. Most of the cast is pretty awful to be honest, but Merle was always very believable in his chaotic role and could act circles around Daryl's character (sorry don't know real names). Made for a good episode but he will be missed.

The preview of the next series tends to support this
The preview shows the Governor yelling about Ricks group killing 8 men and the guard tower at the prison getting taken out with a grenade launcher or something. It is going to go down in the season finale

That's because it's Michael Rooker. He has like 30 years of acting experience.
Norman Reedus was just some guy who got a shot in the business, and wound up on Boondock Saints. Sick movie, I recommend.

Oh yeah, the acting is terrible, The governor has been ok since he has gone crazy, but Merle was one of the few bright spots on the show. Its entertaining as hell but the acting is pretty bad most of the time.

First Ned Stark and Khal Drogo of Game of Thrones, then Merle of the Walking Dead!!!! Why do these people keep killing their best characters in their books - TV Shows?!?!?

Because they're based on books? I personally like it. No getting attached to characters in these shows because they're all subject to the inevitable end.

If they didn't kill characters we liked then we wouldn't have an emotional response to it.

I like the uncertainty of it. You are invested because there is the very real chance that your favorite character will die. I mean look at the body count...

Lori
Shane
Dale
Otis
CDC guy and that chick
Merle
Oscar
Axel
Herschel's son and daughter
Sophia
Randall
Andreas sister
The guy that got bit and slowly turned in season 1
Duane
T-Dog

Then all the other prisoners, henchmen, bad guys...

If you think zombie chicks are hot you should start dating a girl on meth.

Now ur talkin'

Zombie chicks!

Was reading a zombie apocalypes book and there is a scene where a class of preschool kids had been turned and they came after a group of survivors. Talked about for some reason they moved a little faster than adult zombies, how they got lost in the shuffle and would bite people on their legs and how people had a harder time taking them out because they were kids.

I'd love to see a little 7-8 year old be a zombie and get Milton.

I double that! Death to Milton and Blake!
