So, Fear the Walking Dead...
It was alright.
Actor quality seems to be higher.
Still pulling 90% of black characters from The Wire.

I enjoyed it. I will continue watching.
Best part was the last school scene when the mom/V.P is looking out at the buses and that kid is at a window set and looks over at her and their eyes meet. His look is full of "I told you! You stupid idiot". I hope that kid sticks around but I doubt it. He seems to be the most forward thinking person on the show when it comes to the reality they live in.
I wonder how long they will drag out the show based in LA with a huge walker and non infected population or will it spiral into the tone of The Walking Dead quickly.
If they were smart they would drag out the fall of L.A. for at least the whole first season. Preferably two.
so my question is - why it was only figured out after quite a few episodes in Walking Dead that all dead actually turn and that you do not need to be bitten to turn. While here they show right from the get go that dead become undead right away? Something is not right.
The show will remain interesting for a little bit, then it will just BE THE EXACT SAME THING THAT THE WALKING DEAD IS!!! Even though I think this one will end up being better just because of the actors seeming to be better. When your story-lines are limited to running away and surviving in a wold of zombies, acting is really the only thing that can carry a show like this.
AMC really trying to milk this ****.
They are not "trying". Walking Dead has huge numbers and Fear The Walking Dead just had a 6.3 opening premier.
They are setting records.

They are milking this **** then. Just shows how unimportant writing is when you have a gimmick that appeals to an audience who doesn't need any mental stimulation.
it is def getting better.
Also just can't get over the fact that no one ****ing knows what zombies are.
Ya, I have a hard time with that too. Like when the mom (Madison) sees her next zombie in the school (the black principal), she still goes up to it without any real caution. Even after the first Zombie tried to bite her arm off. That type of stuff in movies is frustrating. I hate watching stupid people. They should be able to make movies like this with smart people and have it still be good. It would be better actually.
I know it would be hard to believe it's actually happening, but still, it is.
