This season will vindicate Ty Corbin

Tonight's game vs. Memphis: Corbin's Sacramento Kings' started the game with a 42-16 lead in the first half, led by 11 with 5 minutes left, then choked it away at the buzzer to lose by one. Par for the course?

If you want to put the King's failure/success on Corbin, then there will be a lot of praise towards Corbin this year.

You think the kings are contenders?

Kings are playing well but corbin has nothing to do with it.

What?

He's the guy charged with player development. Have you seen how well Rudy Gay is playing? The Kings have been tweeting out pictures of Corbin working with Gay and Cousins. Both of them are playing like All Stars.

Corbin is a good assistant coach.

I think most of us can agree with that

For a 6-8 seed.
LOL. You do know that the Kings play in the WESTERN CONFERENCE right? Just checking...

So which team or teams do you think Kings will beat out to get into the playoffs this season:

San Antonio
Oklahoma City
Golden State
Houston
Memphis
LA Clippers
Portland
Dallas
Phoenix

???

I don't know. Injuries will play a huge role this year. I could easily see Sacramento beating out OKC. Not saying they will, but it could happen.

You guys realize that Mike Malone is the coach of the Kings? One of the great current defensive minded coaches in the NBA?

One of the greatest defensive minds of the day approves of Corbin. One of the top 4 coaches of all time hired the guy onto his staff. Are we seeing a trend yet?

I am still waiting for you to clarify what you'd consider Ty vindicated? You can declare a vague statement like "This season will vindicate Ty Corbin" a success with pretty much any foreseeable outcome of this season. Give us some specific and hopefully objective criteria we should look at when judging whether or not Ty will be vindicated and lets see if we even agree they are reasonable when declaring Ty's vindication status post 2014-2015 season...

Sounds about right to me. With all the improvement, rough start last year, and a team now not intentionally designed to fail, I think if Snyder can push that up to 40 wins then I'll be wrong about Corbin.

Keep in mind I didn't set the parameter, the fan base did. Why is everyone like Core4 trying to whitewash everything they wrote about it last season? Saying the Jazz were a 48 win 6th seed if Hornacek were here.
