As the world eagerly awaits CNN's upcoming interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, many people are wondering how far-reaching and hard-hitting the questions are going to be.

Through extensive media networking contacts, The Babylon Bee has obtained the following exclusive list of questions from CNN's interview with the Democratic presidential ticket:

  1. "If you were one of the characters from Friends, who would you be?": We're thinking Monica, she's SUCH a boss.
  2. Are you team Edward or team Jacob?: The platform we all need to know.
  3. "You're, like, so amazing. Sorry, I guess that wasn't a question.": But it's SO true.
  4. "Where did you come up with your brilliant idea to build a border wall?": It just came out of nowhere!
  5. "What do you think about feminism? Do you like it?": Very tough, but fair question.
  6. "Is it difficult being a woman in politics? Same question for you, Vice President Harris.": Finally, a moment for Tim Walz to get some attention.
  7. "Are you brat? Or ARE. YOU. BRAT?": It's a trick question. She's obviously BRAT.
  8. "Your opponent is basically Hitler. Can you tell us why that's bad?": The hard-hitting questions we've all come to expect from CNN.
  9. "Would you rather fight 10 duck-sized Trumps or one Trump-sized duck?": Sources say Kamala will lean toward fighting the single giant duck.
  10. "Can we please, please hear that adorable laugh again?": Journalism at its finest.
Powerful stuff! Leave it to CNN to only bring out the deepest, most informative, and probing questions.

I love that none of you try to defend this idiot.

Even left-leaning sources were roasting Walz for that one. It was enough that the campaign released a statement.

"The anguish of losing a child is something no family should have to endure. Gwen and I send our deepest condolences to the Goldberg-Polin family, after Hamas’ murder of their son Hersh," reads a post on Walz’s X account. "Hamas is a brutal terrorist organization – and we condemn their continued atrocities against both Americans and Israelis in the strongest possible terms."

It is a good statement, but it should have been said at the fair in Minnesota in direct response to the question. I don't blame Walz for that. I'm sure he's been given direct instruction to not handle any even remotely contentious issue in a way that outshines the top of the ticket.

I keep seeing that there are new posts in this thread, then when I open it up, it's just people I have on ignore, I'm guessing posting stupid ****.

@Jason is there any way to make it so a thread won't register unread posts if those posts are by people we have on ignore?

It seems that right wingers making fun of this child is par for the course tbh. Is it really much different than when Trump made fun of that disabled reporter back in 2015 or 2016? The cruelty is the point. We have a party that has embraced racism, sexism, cruelty, and all around douchebaggery. Was making fun of Walz’s kid a new low? Maybe. But I’m guessing if you drew a venn diagram of people who made posters depicting Obama as a gorilla or Michelle as a man, people who got off on Trump making fun of that disabled reporter, people who thought Trump calling a porn star “horse face” was funny, people who mocked Joe Biden for loving Hunter, and now people laughing at Walz’s kid, you’d have a perfect circle.

The de-sensitizing of 30-40 percent of the country really got going with Rush Limbaugh on the radio and Fox News. The rise of the tea party and the billionaire money to feed that wretched movement against the first black president poured gas onto this reactionary movement. And now Trump became its leader. He gave millions of Americans permission to act their worst selves.

Has any elected Republican denounced any of these public “conservatives” for going after walz’s son? I bet I can guess the answer. That side has become de-sensitized. There’s no shame anymore. Anyone decent has already left the party.
More than any other factor, the reason I can never vote for Trump is what he has done to the Republican party. There may be things Harris is lacking, but they are monumentally insignificant compared Trump's flaws. The party that once stood for the rule of law, moral standards, and family values has been corrupted to serve the interests of a man who undermines everything they once claimed to honor.

Great post. And so was Thriller's. If our nation's founders were alive to see this they would be so pissed. Nearly half of our citizens are sabotaging the USA . Some of them don't realize it but most of them don't care.

The KSTP/SurveyUSA poll from July 25 found Harris had a 10-point lead over former president Donald Trump in Minnesota, 50 percent to 40 percent. Then Kamala added Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to the ticket, had the DNC convention, and a month of glowing press coverage. Now the KSTP/SurveyUSA poll that just released found Harris has a 5-point lead over former president Donald Trump in Minnesota.

LOL. Adding Walz cut Kamala's lead in half among the voters who know Walz best.

Built buildings, made a hit TV show, became President of the United States, and got Sunni Muslim nations to sign a peace agreement with Israel for the first time in history. You know, the usual.
Do you mean the “peace agreement” (the Abraham Accords) that probably is a direct cause of October 7th?

The funny thing is, I put a couple people on ignore early on, and if it weren't for this I wouldn't even be able to tell they're posting because nobody ever acknowledges or responds to them. You'd think at some point they'd realize they're totally absent from the conversation, but I guess lack of self awareness can be a real deep well.

That is an interesting take. Do you think Hamas militants hate the idea of peaceful coexistence so much that the idea makes them want to kill Jews? You don't believe it was the Nakba, or apartheid, or Benjamin Netanyahu, but rather the finding of a way to live together peacefully that caused October 7th?

If it was the peace agreement that caused Hamas militants to kill a thousand Jews, why did they wait until after the Biden Administration had started unraveling it in an effort to cozy up to the Iranians? The Abraham Accords were signed under Trump. Why wait for Trump to leave office? Why didn't the Hamas militants start killing Jews immediately to show their opposition to living in peace?

Personally, I think you are reaching. I believe Hamas is an Iranian proxy group and Iran didn't have the ability to pull this off until Biden let them out of the box.
