I do not understand this. They are for what ever reason or series of events no longer Jazz men. In fact them doing well in a Jazz game at this point is directly detremental to the Jazz. I wish him a awesome stay in NJ with many wins and accomplishments. But when he faces Utah I will boo. I want him to lose when he faces Utah.

I feel ya dawg. No matter what I'm always gonna boo when your name comes up on the left side of a post... It's just how I roll. I wish you the best with whatever it is you do, but when you post on Jazzfanz I will boo.

Fans really? Why not boo Sundiata Gaines as well? Deron was this franchise for 5 years. He got pouty in his last year and I dont blame him. Can't believe the lack of respect he got.

I was in the boo Williams camp but only if it warranted. Just booing a player because he touched the ball seems pretty stupid to me. I would have booed Memo when he knocked Harris to the floor. Things like that.

You do that.

I was at the game and from where I was, the boos were maybe louder but I heard a lot of cheers, too. Easier to boo and to hear a boo than a "hurray" or a "Deron call me." lol

Deron says that the Jazz have the best fans in the NBA prior to the game and is greeted by a chorus of boos. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. He gave us some great times when he was here. No need to boo him. We were the ones who traded him. It's not like he ditched us via free agency.

You motard. Don't you think that, just maybe, that's what he's talking about? Jazz fanz are nothing if not loyal, and the instant you put on another jersey, you have pretty much stabbed us in the back. It doesn't matter if it was a trade, FA, or surgery for your daughter; you're the enemy, prepare yourself to heckled, boo'd and harassed. I just don't get it.

BE PROUD that players HATE to play in the ESA. Be proud that the all-time greats will always talk about how hard it was to play in Salt Lake City. Be proud that YOU are helping your team win by being the greatest fans in the world.

Or you can be pusswad bitch-cakes like BluesVinyl. Go Cleveland! Yay!

Yeah but he was maybe gonna leave and wouldn't wear his half of our BFF necklace.

I wouldn't have booed him, but it seemed to throw him off his game so well done fans.

I think it had more to do with the fact they had just played a road game @ Phoenix, where he played a ton of minutes and did all the work for his team.

I was disgusted and embarrassed being in the arena last night. The worst display from Jazz fans of all-time.

Why? Because the fans booed an opposing player? A player mind you who is a fair-weather guy, liking it here while things are going well and surely absorbing the fan love that comes with that, and being a pissy, I deserve better than this, ******* when things go tough.

Hope he has fun in Dallas as Dirk's career winds down.

Pro basketball is entertainment. As a fan, when I go to games, I treat it like I'm at an interactive play. There are villans, there are heroes. The villans get booed and the heroes get cheered. If that hurts the entertainers feelings, well...all the better.

I have a lot of fun when I go to games. It is a chance to go crazy and act like a jackass. I'm not even a repressed LDS guy, but it gives me a place and time to act in a way I would not act outside the arena.

Wait. Can we start over? Im lost Why did we Boo Deron

Jazz fans are the dumbest on the planet, that's why. So the guy had some pissing and moaning dramatic moments like you'll get from any super star. I'm sure Jerry and Karl went through much much worse during their tenure. The bottomline is we had a fun/competitive team for 6 straight years and there was one man who was mainly responsible for it. He gave so many great moments/games/highlights that we were lucky to have so quickly after losing our 2 hall of fame players. I understood the Fisher booing, I understood the Boozer booing, but last night was a disgrace and like someone said in another thread one guy was booing him because "he left Utah!" Last night was an absolute low for this franchise.
