Trade deadline discussion

The biggest loser of today will be Quin Snyder, who will get fired at the end of the season.
Only if we can move his contract... you think Smith gonna pay two coaches?

It’s a joke but I think decency bias can influence deadlines like this much more strongly than the “lol they professionnel expert” crew’s brains could handle.
I'm not joking.

Enjoy this team while you can because it's going to look very different next year after we go out in the second round again this season.

How’d we not send out Juancho for second round pick swaps? If I’m OKC, even with all their picks, I’m all over that.
I think OKC can use their cap space at the draft... but I'm not sure. They have to give out 23M to their current players either way... Even if we sent cash (not sure we have any left) they'd save some real dollars.

I have a lot of faith in Presti... so he has a plan but it is weird.

Second round might be the ceiling unless we get good injury luck.

How much you think Mitchell is gonna love Quin when we flame out in the early rounds for the fourth year in a row?

Hell, Mitchell may demand a trade if we lose early.
I'm not gonna lie, the "Fire Quin" crowd is really annoying. It reminds me of when Bucks fans stupidly wanted Budenholzer canned despite the fact that he was obviously an amazing coach. Just feels like that's the natural instinct of your typical dumb fan who wants to blame something: Blame the coach.

Quin's only designed the #1 offense in the NBA by a mile, despite not having any offensive superstars. The players all universally seem to love him. But yeah, fire Quin because he doesn't throw away enough challenges and doesn't play your pet G-league project enough minutes.

I've enjoyed this team enough, would have loved to have seen this team with a little more offense/defense balance. But this might be the last time we see the Don/Rudy combo and if that's so it's a shame we couldn't put a balanced roster together. All the Jazz did was add more high usage guys.

Depending on how everything goes, it's a possibility. In his rant, Rudy compared Don to Devin Booker.

The Suns and Jazz both have franchise centers. Just look at everything else Phoenix has done to support Devin to make sure he has the best chance for success then take a look at what we've done to support Don.

Today, Phoenix went out and got TWO defensive specialists while we spend the entire deadline looking for ways to save money.
