Trade Deadline

Evidence points to the contrary.
Not really. Houston is only a few mil over the tax line and likely ready to punt the season, and Lawson is underperforming and will be a free agent this summer. If they can move him and get under the tax, they will.

Rumors are jazz still want a PG. heard Shelvin Mack from Atl as an possible option. Said that would make Hayward happy and the Jazz have wanted him for years.

So we are so desperate to trade Burke that we will look at nearly any PG (like Shelvin Mack) to trade him for. Even though Burke is a serviceable player, so he obviously really wants out.

So if Houston is desperate and we're desperate then what happened? Something isn't adding up. Lawson is a hell of a lot better than Mack.

Burke is much better than Shelvin Mack. This shows Burke is pushing to be traded. The Jazz are not handling well these trades.

Shelvin Mack shooting a blistering 14.8% from 3.
He's barely playing this year. While Mack's .317 career 3pt% is ****, it's still a hell of a lot better than his percentage this season. Didn't you accuse someone else of being disingenuous in this thread?

Smoke screen, maybe? DL pulling all the tricks out the book to try and find more buyers before pulling the trigger?

What about Beno Udrih? Could likely be had for free as the heat are trying to reduce tax bill.

Still a few hours left. The Jazz haven't traded Burke for Mack just yet. Regardless, there's no reason why Houston wouldn't trade Lawson for Burke+filler (Pleiss).

Shelvin Mack, really? That would be dumb.

Would be a lateral move but I'm not sure Burke clicks back in. If we were getting early season Burke back I wouldn't do the deal but I'm not sure that guy will come back.
