The Denver Nuggets have traded Randy Foye to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange of D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak and two future second-round picks.

Denver got more from OKC for Foye than Utah for Kanter! eheheh
 
A little surprised that the Jazz elected to keep Burke, but I wonder if they do the same thing that the Hawks are doing. Play out the season, have assets come draft time and then see what happens with the jump in cap space. All these rotational players on rookie contracts should have significant value when the market dries up.

I'm fairly certain that Steve Novak rents furnished apartments month to month.

Everybody thinks they can keep "their guys" since they'll all have cap space. It'll go away really quick once teams start throwing money around. Still love how the Jazz are positioned. Was hoping that they'd upgrade at PG so they can maybe go into the playoffs strong and do something, but I guess the cost was higher than it was worth for a young, ascending team with assets.
 
Also how are the new Rockets and Grizzlies looking? Jazz might have won this with a 2nd rounder. Are the Blazers and Mavs the only real competition now for 4 playoff spots?

Stephenson to Memphis for Jeff Green.

Rockets sent Joel Anthony to the Sixers.


Edit: Grizz got a first rounder. But it's definitely a backwards move for this year.

Memphis also sent out Courtney Lee and got Birdman

Rockets sent out Montijunas and someone else and got some people back. And kept their albatross in Lowry.

Memphis has Stephenson, Randolph, Birdman, Tony Allen, Matt Barnes... holy **** that's an ummmm interesting(?) group.
 
I think it's hilarious the guy everybody was begging to trade assets for now may be released by the Rockets. I am so happy the Jazz didn't trade for Lawson.
