Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

You know what Memphis did will all of these amazing assets we gave them?

Grayson Allen turned into Sam Merrill and 2 2nds

Jae Crowder added into a deal along with Andre Iguodala and Solomon Hill for Justise Winslow, Dion Waiters and Gorgui Dieng.

One first we sent them turned in Brandon Clarke and the other turned into Walker Kessler who’s on our team now.

My god what a big mistake we made. They turned our golden assets into treasure.
Doesn't matter in the least, unless you are saying that if we had kept them we would have fully consulted with the Grizz before using them. That would be stupid. You cannot say what we would have done with them. That is a fully false equivalency. Just like comparing the Magic draft to the Conley trade. Apples and Watermelons comparison (not even as close as an orange would be at least in size and shape).

Oh, because Memphis mismanaged the assets it's okay that we mismanaged the assets. Sound logic there....

You're forgetting about his $70 million contract over two years. But please continue....

Do you realize how many assets we’ve mismanaged? Lmao just shut the **** up already.

Because we traded a lottery pick for a one year rental of George Hill? Or when we used a first to acquire Ricky Rubio? Or when we drafted Dante Exum in the top-5 or when we traded up for Tony Bradley in the first? Or when we drafted Udoka Azubuike in the first? Or when we traded a first to get off of Favors contract?

Oh my god Conley wasted all of our assets.

Lol. Sorry you put so much time into figuring out what Memphis did with the assets we gave them only to realize the point holds no water.

Why did they mismanage every one of them if they were so good?

We traded a lottery pick and a first for George Hill and Ricky Rubio who aren’t on the team. We traded a future first to get rid of Favors contract. We have wasted two firsts on bigs who can’t even play.

But yes… the Mike Conley traded ruined us. Oh my god I can’t believe it. He’s still on the team too lmao. Just dumb as **** logic.

He scored 21 points on 7/13 from the field 4/6 from three with 6 assists in one of the losses. That loss is on him?
You think 21 and 6 was good enough for a guy who at the time was the highest paid player on the team at 32.5mil?

For a role player maybe but not for your suppose "third star" on the team.

Especially when your best player was already putting up historic numbers. Donovan for certain couldn't have given us more in that series. But Conley?

He scored 17 in a game where we lost by 10 meaning had he scored 28 we'd have won that game. A tough ask?

He scored 21 in a game where we lost by 12 meaning had he scored 30+ dished out a couple of more assists we’d have won too.

Not to mention he missed that G1 just so he could be with his wife and kid. A game which Donovan dropped a historic 57pt, 3rd most in playoff history and it still wasn't enough. Had Conley been there for us we’d have won that game and swept the series.

I mean Jingles son had autism but he didn't ask for any leave or put himself above the team. You know even the DeREk fISheR that everyone here despised so much flew into our playoff game against GSW to help us out put together a comeback, which was proven to be the turning point of that series and one of the great playoffs moments. Fisher’s daughter had a legit serious condition too unlike Conley who just wanna to be there for his newborn baby, apparently that was more important than the team that was paying him 30mil+ a year.

There was just so many more things that Conley could and should have given but he just didn't bring it when we needed him. Especially for a guy who's always been the highest or second highest paid player since coming here.

So because we made bad decisions on other assets, then mismanaging the Conley trade was...also ok, or actually just fine and maybe great, for some reason?

Talk about ****** logic.

Hey babe since I cheated on you once before, you are totally cool with me cheating again right, but this time with your sister and your best friend at the same time right? I mean it will be a lot more fun for me, and since I already ****ed up once, a bigger **** up must be just a-ok, right?

The George Hill trade got roasted and he only cost us 1 first rounder and he had a fair contract.

Do you realize that Mike Conley's 2 years $70 million contract cost us all those minor contract deals too because of the luxury tax - dumping Ed Davis, dumping Favors, dumping Tony Bradley, etc. etc.

You're minimizing the effects of the trade overall. The contracts. The picks. The luxury tax. Forget the impact on the court which didn't materialize. These other ramifications have been massive.

George Hill cost us a top-12 pick for a one year rental dumb ***.

Actually we didn’t have to sign Ed Davis or Favors to the stupid contracts we did and we’d still be under the tax.

You legit don’t know anything about what you are talking about. You have a very casual fan basic level of knowledge of how anything works.

I’m directly talking about you and LoPo saying this trade was the sole reason we don’t have any assets which is just dumb as **** logic.

B/r: Teams tried to "pounce" on Mitchell

Some teams around the NBA reportedly smelled blood in the water after the Utah Jazz traded Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Salt Lake Tribune's Andy Larsen reported Sunday that "more than a handful of teams called the Jazz to inquire about" their willingness to trade Donovan Mitchell.

"Those conversations, the Jazz felt, were league executives trying to pounce on a perceived opportunity to trade for Mitchell cheaply," Larsen wrote, adding that Utah rebuffed any outside interest.

Mike Conley is the reason we signed Derrick Favors to the full MLE. - LoPo
Favs maybe not but Gay and Ed? The guy admitted to having contacted Marc Gasol to come to the Jazz when Gasol was already in Europe. Good thing we didn't follow through cuz God that would've been disastrous

The fact that Hill/Rubio/Favs trade sucked doesn’t make Conley’s trade innocent. Plus I'd say none of these trades were as bad as the Conley trade. And yes Conley is still on the team and is paid 22mil a year for being on the team.

Those all coupled together are WAY worse than the Conley trade. LoPo said the Conley trade was the main reason we don’t have assets. That’s just plain and flat out wrong.
