Russ getting traded or divorced?
It's basically only the Spurs or Jazz now, if a deal happens.
The Pacers publicly pulling out tells me the Lakers are non-negotiable about giving up 2 picks.
Or that they don’t want salary on the books the next year, or that their particular package isn’t worth 2 firsts (it isn’t). Or that the Pacers just gave up too soon and created an even stronger position for the Jazz. It's basically only the Spurs or Jazz now, if a deal happens.

That are expiring? No, they don’t at all.The Spurs don’t really have a viable combination of players the Lakers would want I think.
If we are still trying to get both picks Vando will have to be in the deal. If you want full conspiracy theories with our activities... then we signed some centers because one (vando) is going out in trade. I can see the package above netting a first and a swap and that may be as far as they want to go. JC is useful but Schroeder can be the super sixth man... so I'm not sure he goes to LA in the deal (if it happens). For salary purposes he'd likely need to be in there. The deal that makes the most sense for both teams is Bogey/Beasley/Clarkson.
Bogey is expiring, Beasley has a team option next year (Lakers can pick it up if they need him for salary in a sign-and-trade) and Clarkson likely opts out next year to get a bigger contract. We save around 1.3M worth of salary as well to get us 3M under the luxury tax.
They are under the cap still though... so they are very much in the game. They reportedly want 2 first for Poeltl so I don't see it happening. That are expiring? No, they don’t at all.
It’s the Jazz or it isn’t happening.
Okay. What PLAYERS are they sending back that make them even a pretender this year (that ideally are also expiring)? They are under the cap still though... so they are very much in the game. They reportedly want 2 first for Poeltl so I don't see it happening.

Ainge been full of surprises so the Lakers almost seems too obvious
It would be Poeltl and Richardson. Maybe throw in Zach Collins. They would save a **** ton of money.Okay. What PLAYERS are they sending back that make them even a pretender this year (that ideally are also expiring)?
Bogey/Beasely/JC/Vando for Russ/Nunn or Bogey/Beasely/Vando/NAW for Russ... maybe Gay gets added in for NAW.Bogey/Conley/Vando is only a 459K difference in salary but I don’t think they want Conley’s salary next year. Maybe they do we will see.
We are the team that has:Exactly. There is no viable combination.
Lebron didn’t just extend for the ownership to save a bunch of money. It would be Poeltl and Richardson. Maybe throw in Zach Collins. They would save a **** ton of money.
I don't think they give two picks for that package and its on par with Bogey, Beasley, JC... though Poeltl is a +/- god so maybe some would view it as better.
I think Conley might be in the package if this bull **** goes into the season (and Bogey’s gone) but I see no way he’s in discussions right now.Bogey/Conley/Vando is only a 459K difference in salary but I don’t think they want Conley’s salary next year. Maybe they do we will see.
I agree but Poeltl and Richardson would make them much better than Russ... so you sell it as a basketball move that creates "flexibility".Lebron didn’t just extend for the ownership to save a bunch of money.
