I'm agreeing. Beasley should be one of the players they want most along with Vando. Honestly they should want Mike. Say it was Mike/Bogey/Beasley... and they only give a pick and a swap in the deal with us.... They can offer Mike/Malik/1st rp for Kyrie... they re-sign Bogey on top of it. Brooklyn likely won't tear it down so the players and picks are likely preferable to just letting him walk.Sure, but Bird Rights/team option give you the theoretical optionality of either.
Again, what we got and can offer.
ummmm.... no... if that was his ceiling you never trade him. A non-crazy Rodman would be amazing. What is Vando's ceiling? Dennis Rodman?

A source close to Bogdanovic tells the Tribune that he expects to be traded soon.
Lonzo for Mike straight across is a fine gamble as far as I’m concerned.Lonzo underwent surgery again. I doubt he's healthy with regularity before the AS break. Right now they are good but will be relying more on Dragic than you'd like to. They likely can just work around with Zach, Demar, Ayo, AC... but could see them kicking the tires on Mike or JC in season.
How could they get Mike? They dont have the salary to match unless they want to trade Lonzo, which would require the Jazz to give assets up.Lonzo underwent surgery again. You'd have to the give the Bulls a first, at least.Lonzo for Mike straight across is a fine gamble as far as I’m concerned.
Why would it necessarily require that? At this point, the Bulls should be concerned they’re never really getting the player they signed back but paying out $70 million all the same. How could they get Mike? No... it would be straight up or we get something. It could also be JC and NAW. Maybe a Bogey for Ball and a pick... IDK.How could they get Mike? They dont have the salary to match unless they want to trade Lonzo, which would require the Jazz to give assets up.
Because Lonzo is 24 years old and really ****ing good. Why would it necessarily require that? At this point, the Bulls should be concerned they’re never really getting the player they signed back but paying out $70 million all the same.
And I wouldn’t touch the idea of going after him if I was doing anything but tanking and taking on bad/risky money.Because Lonzo is 24 years old and really ****ing good.
I think you are smoking some gas if you think the Jazz could get Ball and a pick for Bogey. It would be Bogey and a pick for Ball.No... it would be straight up or we get something. It could also be JC and NAW. Maybe a Bogey for Ball and a pick... IDK.

There has to be concern that he is going to end up like Brandon Roy here... If Bulls are confident then they won't do the deal. Him taking a year to get healthy would be great for us... pretty devastating for Bulls who are lowkey a win now team. Why would it necessarily require that? At this point, the Bulls should be concerned they’re never really getting the player they signed back but paying out $70 million all the same.
Depending on which first it was, I would give up Conley and a first for Ball, no question. And I wouldn’t touch the idea of going after him if I was doing anything but tanking and taking on bad money.
Vando alone for a 1st is just fine. Bogey for a first is just fine. Taking on Westbrooks salary for a first is fine. Clarkson for a late first is fine. Beasley for a 1st is fine.Vando can be included even if it is just one pick as far as I’m concerned. One Lakers pick is worth more than 3 protected ones from other teams.
Yeah, if we were giving them back a player who was relatively in his prime on a long-term fair deal, then a swap would make sense. The Bulls give up high end value for more guaranteed value, but that isnt the case with any of our available players (other than maybe Clarkson, but Clarkson also kind of sucks and isnt near close to Ball's value). There has to be concern that he is going to end up like Brandon Roy here... If Bulls are confident then they won't do the deal. Him taking a year to get healthy would be great for us... pretty devastating for Bulls who are lowkey a win now team.
