I don't understand when a ref calls the foul when he's on the weak side and can't even see the ball! It's so terrible!!!!

I really hope that a statement is made tomorrow on this game. Something about the refs, the weak T that was given to Booker and nothing at all to LMA.
 
Just saying too Portland has been terrible since losing Matthews, their defense is about 10 points worse and they had lost 5 in a row.

It's a design play to kick to a shooter in the corner or on the weak side wing, because without penetration the 3p line is heavily guarded. We've been trying this one game after game when we need a 3 at the end and it has never worked. I am not sure if it's just bad execution or teams are too good at guarding it and fouling right away... I would have liked to see Ingles being prepared to take a shot once he feels a contact, thus giving himself a chance at a 3p play, but it was clear that his mind was 100% on passing to the perimeter and didn't even look at the basket. The thing is... they might not call a foul if he shoots. In end of game situations refs hardly ever go for the and-1 play... let alone those specific refs.

I guess the point I wanted to make is that there is a group of people here who change their mind about Trey from one game to another. I'm not down on him for this game, but I'm past the point of being fooled by one of his decent games. As far as I'm concerned, he's a mini Jeff Malone, and guys like that don't suddenly grow a conscience in regards to their shooting. I could live with Trey if he was more self-aware of when his shot isn't falling, but I have little tolerance for guys who have no feel for when they should try to impact the game in another way on a night when their shot is obviously off.

To be completely fair to Trey, however, his chucking doesn't happen without Quin allowing it. Nothing wrong with that in a development/rebuilding year, but it absolutely can't happen next year if we're serious about winning.

Just finished the game. Refs were garbage... Snyder should have stepped up and gotten the tech tonight. There were two complete BS calls where the wrong ref made the call. The millsap one was horrible. That ref was completely guessing... Other ref should have overruled the call. Many more complaints but at least make the right ref make the call.

Guys played well. We almost beat a playoff team with a d league wing rotation.
 
hopefully these last 4 losses show the FO what we need to do for next year.

We need more offense, obviously is Hay and or Hood is out we are in trouble. Hopefully Burks, Hayward, and Hood all have an overall healthy 2016. Still we need at least one more legit offensive threat.

Go get Tomic. That gives us insurance if someone goes down, and makes us very deep when healthy. We could of beat WASH, Portland, and MINN with just a little more offense. With Tomic and another offensive weapon we could have played GS tighter as well. We are so close in these games that we just need a piece or two to push us over.

That T should be rescinded. I don't' think anybody really did anything wrong except the fool of a ref.
 
Favors doesnt get enough love. He quietly goes about his business and puts up good numbers. And like Coach Quin said hes still getting better.
