Punch Bowl Re-Filler
We've picked up poor man's Korver in Ingles, IMO. He just needs to find his stroke.
Hood, despite his rookie struggles, is going to be a younger version of Korver. That stroke doe!

Actually he has so far digressed statistically in basically every category, not to mention his defense to me has seemed worse. So all the criticism of Burke so far this season is 100% warranted.
I have far from given up on Trey, especially with how well I thought he played in the preseason. BUT so far in the regular season he has been bad, and worse then last season.
Reggie Jackson,
All this talk of bringing Millsap back, but maybe we need Matthews more? Both are FAs at season's end.
Exum/Burke
Matthews/Burks
Hayward/Hood
Millsap/Booker
Favors/Gobert
Definitely looks like a playoff team with promise. When Exum blooms...... even more expectations.
Exactly. The investment, whether via the draft, free agency or in a trade, will be to bring in another PF. Don't know much about the draft class and who might be there in the 8-10 range (where I think Utah will land). Not sure if possible, but the Jazz should try to extend Booker's deal. Might be like Boozer's situation in Cleveland, though. Jazz would have to make him a FA in order to give him a better deal. As for Burke, I think he sticks around the whole season, but wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Jazz go after a veteran PG this summer to play behind Dante and look to trade Trey.Hate to break this to you but the jazz just committed 40+million to burks. He won't be hanging around the bench anytime soon.

Part of the problem is that most people overrated him coming out of college, so with high expectations comes major disappointment when he doesn't live up to his college performance.
I definitely don't think he's worthless, but I don't think we're better with him than with an "empty guard" lineup, which would give us a much better defensive front.
In the end a few of these guys are not going to be with the Jazz but until they leave I will limit my criticism to rational/reasonable level.
I don't think that Trey fits into Quin's offense. Trey is used to dominating the ball, and shooting when he has no other options. When we drafted Trey, I had visions of him being a strong pick 'n roll pg with Favors and Kanter. I rarely see that and the ball sticks with him way too much. He just isn't a great shooter to be taking as many shots as he does. The Jazz are leaning heavily on him because Exum isn't ready, I think it's time for DL to pull the trigger and move Trey and bring in a PG that is a ball mover and can defend.
Problem is he is not explosive enough to blow by guys and get layups (i.e., Chris Paul), and he isn't physically long or big enough to finish over guys (MCW, Dwill), so he HAS TO take those jump shots.
Problem is he isn't a great shooter like you said. Isiah who is even smaller, is playing well because he is hitting shots.
