Sounds like not signed yet but going to be today.
 
Tony Jones did report that Trey Lyles was signed first and then restated he would be signed after a physical this afternoon.
 
Mr. O'Lindsey played this very well.

Two weeks ago we were all Meh on Trey Lyles. Today beat writers are stalking him at the airport and U of U med center and all Utah is talking about him and forgetting that nothing really happened in free agency.

Tip of the hat to Mr. O'Lindsey.
 
What's even the point of doing the physical? Would the Jazz really not sign him if their was a little issue? You already picked him. You can't undo the draft. It's not like you would not keep him around to see it through.

Doctor: Dennis, your player has a knee problem we found.

Dennis: oh no that sucks. I guess we'll cut him. Pick wasted.
 
I don't like that Trey wasnt even in town. Makes me think he was being difficult with the contract, not the Jazz.

Tony Jones said he thinks Hood is playing tonight.

I'm sure the Jazz feel some sort of obligation to give the fans a good show especially now that Exum is resting with an injury and Lyles cant play yet.

Trey hasn't even been in Utah. Its one thing for his agent to say lets not have him play full contact games until he's signed, its another to not even have him around to talk with coaches, train, etc. Seems like this was a negotatinig tactic on his camps part, not necessarily the Jazz holding out for cap room. Dennis is going to obviously say its on Jazz so that the fans don't turn on a player.

Not going to happen but I don't see why Lyles couldn't suit up and play a couple of minutes. That being said there really no need for him to obviously. I'm just impatient.
