Trey Lyles Signed

Risk injuries? The kid is 19. He's not 30. If he didn't know what he is doing out there he was a terrible pick. Most of summer league teams have no idea what they are doing.

You are asking fans to pay to watch these games. Give them a reason to pay to watch.

Just my opinion. Obviously the Jazz agree with you, but I think it's dumb.

They are paying $5-$15. This "I payed money for my tickets" argument doesn't hold much water imo. It's not worth the risk for a pointless game. Especially when there's plenty more to go. I would love to see him out there but highly doubt they will rush it because fans paid $5.

I dunno.. I would want him to at least go through 1 practice before just "running out there" like it's a pick up game.

Don't forget, the opponents are playing these games like their lives are depended on it for new contracts and whatnot. Lyles plays the 4 position, he will be inside banging bodies. I think it's a reasonable precautions.

I'm with Nolan Ryan. Players today are weak. Get out there and play. Risk an injury? Pshhhhh. Be a man.

;)

Not a big fan of this agent of his.... already trying to mess up the chemistry we currently have in Utah.

does this Lyles thing remind you of any stuff that has gone down in your family business? If so, what advice would you have for Trey?

Not really never had anything like this happened ever... never had to use an agent, I am my own man.

Any issues come up we just talk it through. Communication. Give and take. Forgiveness.

Family is still family.

I wonder, do you guys refrain from growing and distributing Gerber Daisies? I mean, their stocks get bent so easily because of their heavy heads. It's an easy way to lose a big percentage of your harvest/capital. Probably really stressful and thus very bad for family relations.

Lyles agreed to the full 120 percent that he was allowed to receive today, or $2,239,800. So by not agreeing to a deal until Tuesday, the Jazz were able to preserve $373,300 on their cap sheet, allowing them a bit more maneuverability in the early stages of free agency.

Nah we do evergreen trees/shrubs not flowers. Less hassles that way, higher profit margins also.
