Just a great game by Hayward. He played well both defensively and offensively. I think he is making KOC look pretty good and a lot of Jazz fans look pretty stupid.

Just a great win. This win makes up for a lot this year. The Jazz haven't beaten LA in LA with KObe playing since 2000. The streak is over so maybe the Jazz can start believe that they can beat LA in the future. Watson played well, Favors had his moments and the Jazz played really good defense.

Off-season assignment for the rookies: shoot 1,000 FT's per day.

This game was as bad as the UConn-Butler eyesore. It hurt to watch. But I agree about the defense and some positive steps forward for Favors and Hayward. Gordon looks like the SG of the future. He can actually play pretty good defense and now his shooting is starting to come around. He's playing less scared. Favors can definitely be a force on "D"; just needs to polish his offensive game.

And it hurts LA's chance to get home court. So yeah, I'll celebrate this win just like a playoff victory.

I just hope if Utah drops from #12 to #13, it doesn't cost us Jimmer;-)

I know a lot of you bagged on Jefferson in game, but I think he played well tonight. He didn't shoot well, but didn't lapse much on defense and hustled down the court. Was very surprised to see HIM come into the picture to receive the ball when Watson made that steal. Played in the offense fairly well. Good to see him do that after the past six to eight games being very lazy.

Easily, easily, easily Hayward's best game. I will always remember this as the birth of his left hand. I could write a lot about this.

If you charted Hayward's drives to this point, I'm guessing you would see 85% have been baseline when the defender is overplaying/lazy. Purely opportunistic, but he's always quick on those drives which is a good sign of his IQ. Otherwise, you saw teams sit on his left hand. His reaction to this point was to dribble right and abandon the attack looking to pass. Tonight, he drove. But I was stunned to see him use his left hand so much. That's a fantastic sign.

I agree. I don't think this win will change our second pick. I have played the lotto game a couple hundred times and we are always taking Jimmer with our second pick. I would be surprised if we didn't take him.

I hated watching the Jazz get jobbed at home against the lakers - so I chose not to watch tonight. ****!!

Haha! We snap our Staples losing streak AND likely cost the Lackers a shot at the #1 seed! I'll take it!

Still dribbles it too high with his left, but that's something that can be worked on in the off season. It also goes to show how the NBA WILL find your weaknesses.

Hayward to Favors! To me the confidence gained in this game was just huge, for Corbin, for Rookies. Great win!

The old Jazz trademark of outworking opponents was back in this game. Hope we see it more.

I hear ya I seriously thought about not watching the game but decided to anyway, and DAMN I'm glad I did! Hell of a game tonight.

Bentley I suggest you watch the replay. It's a good one.

Tonight reminded me of November 11, 2006 when Deron Williams took over the game down the stretch and for the first time you said "Wow, how good could this kid be?"

Now, I don't think Hayward will be as consistently great as he was tonight
I do, at least in the long run. I bet he comes back next season like a man possessed.

I noticed he seemed to often beat his man off the dribble. He doesn't strike me as particularly quick, but there must be some reason why he has that first step.
