Need a translation if any Turkish speaking person is able to please.

I tried to translate this but have to say my english isn't perfect :D The main things he said are:

- Everything after the surgery went well and he finished the first part of the rehab-program in Chicago already a few weeks ago

- On June 2nd he will continue to work in Chicago for 6 weeks and complete the second part of the rehab-program (Originall interview was made at 30th of May but you can clearly hear that now he speaks turkish with accent and had trouble to find the right words)

- He always continues to get better and he is never satisfied with his skills

- He knows he played limited minutes so far but thats the part of the business when players like Big Al and Millsap are in the roster

- His favorite in the finals are the Miami Heat

- Howard and Dirk were the player who were the biggest challenge for him so far (Howard ok, but Dirk?He played rarely against Dirk. I mean Favors did a lot :D)

That's strange. I've been in the U.S. for about as long as Enes has been alive, and I still speak my first language without an accent.

Impressive. My sister-in-law is from Mexico and to all of us she speaks English with a Spanish accent, but to all her family back home, she speaks Spanish with an English accent. She gets crap from everyone.

My brother in law came back from his 2 year LDS church mission in Mexico with a substantial Mexican accent. Took him probably about a month to lose it.
 
I'm really surprised to learn of this. I always thought vocal pathways are coded into the brain as a child. That's why it's very difficult for an adult to learn to speak a second language with zero accent, regardless of how immersed they are and for how long.
 
He did not make a mistake while talking about the date which he would come back to USA. So he meant 2nd of June and said rightly. But so far it seems his Turkish is broken and he's thinking to find the right words while talking. I do not know how it happens because he's not been staying in USA for too long. I guess it's a lil bit about language skill cause when you concentrate to talk in any language, you gotta get used to talk it in rhythmic. I know Italian, English, Turkish and some Russian but it's rare my main language has got accent and gets broken like him.
 
Also, it's so strange for Kanter to delete all porn stars in his tweeter list before he comes to Turkey and tweets about muslim issues. I guess he was warned by his family or someone else. In the interview, he talks about his brother Kerem Kanter and how he's grown up and get bigger fast and how hopefull he is about his brother's future. Last, for the national team he defended himself about not participating to the national team but working individually to improve his skillset. And for joining to NT, he answered politically as saying we 'll see.

Ilyasova has right. I am sorry guys. I thought this interview was made in June so i thought it was a mistake but this interview was made in 30th of May. The rest is correct ;)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I always though he was born in Switzerland and grew up there as well? I think if he was not in Turkey when he was a kid it made huge influence to his language skills.

When you immerse yourself in a foreign language and speak nothing but that language for years, yes, your conversational skills in your native language do decrease. I spent 1 1/2 years speaking nothing but Portuguese. About 4-5 months in, I was able to stop thinking of a sentence in English and then translating to Portuguese. And the same things with objects: for example, when I looked at a door, I thought "porta" not "door." And there were certain catch phrases that I just adopted. When I returned to the U.S., I found myself pausing during parts of conversations, as I was still thinking in Portuguese. And I definitely did have a bit of an accent, several people commented on that. With Enes, I think he's been in the U.S. for so long, with just short trips back to Turkey; he's probably thinking in English now.

So everytime I look at my number, it reminds me who I am, it doesn't matter if I play in the NBA or I'm allstar, I will always try to remember modesty.
- He talks about "NBA cares" stuff. How he can't have spare time and private life. He's ok with helping people though.
- He explained why he didn't join the National Team last summer. He said, it was in his best interest to train alone and negate his cons, he wants to be a complete player for years to come. "It was the right decision" he said. Reporter asked if he ever play for the NT and he answered "Kismet! (destiny)"

I like this guy! I think the Jazz hit the jackpot with Kanter and Favors. Will they be all-star quality? Only time will tell. But so far I have been nothing but impressed by their professionalism, work ethic and team-first mentalities. Neither has openly complained about lack of playing time, although they certainly had every reason. And both spend their off-seasons working hard to improve their abilities. I am so psyched to see these two spend time with Karl. At some point, I predict we'll all be saying...DAYUM!
