And then what? Al Jefferson got us to the playoffs, and we saw what happened when other teams utilized his lack of defense. Opposing SFs, SGs, whatever will have absolute field-days against him. Can he put up a lot of points? Yeah? Well so can CJ Miles. The Wolves would be much better off aiming for a 2 who can hit the shot at a good clip (which he can) but also be a competent defender. Instead, they have added yet another defensive sieve to their lineup. Yes, they might make the playoffs, but you will never be a contender with Chase Budinger as your starting 2 (rofl). Instead of going BPA and possibly trading a player like Sullinger to swap him for a good 2, you have just created another liability. So, the Wolves will still have to be searching for a better 2 if they ever want to be western conference contenders.
You are overstating how bad he is at defense. He isn't a good defender, but he his defense isn't that detrimental to the team.

Sources say Houston has an offer of Lowry, the #14 and #16 picks for Tyreke Evans and the #5 pick on the table. Up to Sacramento to decide.

Source involved in Houston-Kings talks says the Rockets have not offered the No. 14, No. 16 pick and Kyle Lowry for Tyreke Evans and No. 5.
Jonathan Givony:
Worst thing that can happen to a team is a trade being reported prematurely. Agents, players, families start freaking out. Deny deny deny...
Yep, having an opinion that differs from other people (or from a select few people) is a terrible thing.

No having an opinion is fine. Trying to make everything a debate because you feel the need to give your opinion on everything is stupid though.
Haha and then ironically neg reps me for my "opinion". Atta'kid.
(ps- STILL never neg replied anyone on here.)
I'm with Cy and Margo here. Buddinger (with a great contract) for #18 seems fair to Minnesota. It's ONLY a steal for Houston if they manage to use their three mediocre picks to move up for something better. But by itself, I think the odds for #18 to reach Buddinger's value is slightly below 50-50.
Maybe next year we'll be the team in a position to stockpile mid-first round picks and then maybe move up.

Please let the Jazz stereotype die.Mark Deeks: Wolves may well start Rubio, Ridnour, Budinger, Love and Pekovic next year. The first all white starting lineup for about 800 years.
Jonathan Feigen: On ESPN report https://espn.go.com/blog/t… that Rockets working to move up for Dwight pieces, everything they do is to get next star. Everything.
Rockets get it.
The Jazz could offer more. Jefferson, Hayward/Burks, Millsap/Kanter, GS pick...not a bunch of mid-teen picks. But Howard's a bitch.
