Twitter feeds leading up to the draft

Note sure if this is true or not, but I'll be glad this dude is out of the NBA:

"Sad day for the NBA, as the great Kevin Garnett has decided to retire. Press conference scheduled for 1 pm EST tomorrow on ESPN."

You would think that it would be all over ESPN if it is true. I remember enjoying watching KG when he was with the Wolves, however, Boston changed him a bit. He became a little more obnoxious.

I'll admit that I've always likes Garnett .. though I like super-agressive, get in your head type players .. go figure.

I was a big fan of the big show when he was with the wolves. I don't remember him being so dirty when he played with them. IMO he is the dirtiest player in the NBA and it's a happy day if this is true.

I don't have insider because, a) I hate ESPN, and b) Insider never has any insider info.

Having said that, the Jazz are definitely talking with a lot of teams, and you don't need to pay $2.95/mo to figure that out.

I need more specifics though.

David Locke tweeted it I think
From @Chadfordinsider "Fear not Jazz fans. Kevin O'Connor is exploring ways to move up in the draft. They have the Warriors pick in 2013 (top 6 protected), veterans like Paul Millsap, Al Jefferson and Devin Harris, and might even be willing to add in another young player (as long as you don't ask for Derrick Favors or Enes Kanter). Their presumed target is Weber State's Lillard. They need a point guard and know him better than any team in the league. They like Beal and Kidd-Gilchrist a lot too."

I don't get the MKG love at all. Look at Brewer vs MKG:

6'6 w/o shoes 6'6
6'7 w shoes 6'8
223 lbs 233
6'11 wingspan 7'
8'8 standing reach 8'9
5% body fat 7%
35' no step vert 32'
41' max vert 36'
19 Bench 6
11.32 lane agility 11.77
3.14 3/4 court sprint 3.18

The more I watch MKG, the more I read about him, the more I see him shoot, the more he SCREAMS Ronnie Brewer to me. Look at their combine numbers. They are the same exact kid. Brewer went to a crappy school and MKG is going to piggy back his way to a top 5 pick (though it sounds like GM's are wising up to him and he is dropping the closer we get to the draft) because he played with 4 other NBA players.

Heck, look at his shooting form:

He LOOKS like Brewer when he shoots. Did he break his elbow as a kid as well? He is a freaking Brewer clone that happened to be on a better team with more hype.

No thanks.

I two of the three are the guys I like the most in this draft. Guess which one I like the least. What would you give up for Beal?

Burks and the Warriors pick.

I would give up Jefferson, but I would assume we would have to take back Nene or Okafor. I would be OK with Okafor, but no way on Nene.

Are you on bath salts? Jazz could flip Nene to any number of teams, including Denver.

KOC: "Paul, you want Nene for the #11?"
Paul Allen: "Done and Done, fool."
