Dude would be an instant cancer
All the more reason to get him in here.

Get to work on it, Dennis.
Dude would be an instant cancer
Anyone would take <insert_name_here> for sure. Trade <insert_name_here> for Burke straight up.
But we don't really have a 1-on-5 James Harden on our team though.. I think Hayward, Favors and especially Gobert could really benefit from elite level passing which Lawson does possess.
Dude would be an instant cancer
He's a drive-and-kick guy. I don't think he's an elite passer. Not even close, really.
I think this question was asked before he was traded to the Rockets, which might've been before Dante was injured. Not sure. I know this guy has had off-court issues, but he is the kind of PG that could push the Jazz in the upper echelon of the NBA.
Awesome... Let's trade for Lawson so we can have him pull a Kanter demanding a trade out of Utah then enrage fans talking about how bad a place Utah is, but instead of trashing SLC after a trade. He's doing it while playing for Utah. Great idea.
It's well documented how he thinks of Utah. Do we really want that headache. With this young up and coming team built on defense? With great personalities and attitudes guys who like it here and want to be here l. Do we really want to mess all that up??
I'm more concerned with the 4 DUIs, and the attitude that he hasn't really acknowledged it is an issue. Ironically a low key place like Utah is exactly what he needs.
He's trashed Utah in the media more then once. He's not what we need. Get over it

But he's kind of right. You probably are right too, but I think these fall short of evidence for that he is.
Because Houston is a terrible fit for him. Houston's offense is giving Harden the ball and everyone else just stand around.
Memphis is currently the 4th seed. What do you think they were expecting? New Orleans is below projections, but not Memphis.Lawson still has the NBA record of most consecutive 3s made in a game with 10. You would think he is an elite 3P shooter but he no longer is, in fact he has gotten worse every year. Just check his yearly stats. Now dude is unhealthy as hell and has serious mental problems and is getting paid more than Favors. How would that work with our chemistry?

We're playing games 4vs5 and are kind of desperate to get a real PG but he is not the answer.
I think the PG Synder wants most is Mike Conley of Memphis who will be a free-agent this offseason. Not sure about his injury issues but New Orleans Pelicans' Jrue Holiday is also pretty underrated and underutilized and may blossom into an above-average PG in the league. Both MEM and NOP don't look good so far, one of them or both may make major moves or even blow it up.
