What's new

ty lawson to the jazz?

Lawson is a one man fast break when he's right. I doubt he becomes good again , but you never know.

One thing of note... His guarantee date is after the draft which means we could use him on draft night to take on salary and move up or acquire a pick. We have a ton of cap space next year but can't use it in a trade until FA opens up. His contract could be a useful tool.

So the majority believe this is a good trade yet do you also believe Lawson is going to give his all here and play the way you all say he can? I see him coming in and playing uninterested. IMO

In which case, he still won't end up in Utah. He's not going to come here as a first choice option, and once he's facing a minimum contract he'll have other offers.

That's if he clears waivers right? If he is waived and someone wants to claim him then he goes to the highest bidder doesn't he? I don't think he has a choice if he is claimed of waivers but I could be wrong. I think he is getting paid somewhere around 12.5M this year.

See the only thing i can't understand is why this thought he can't be good? I don't buy this one I sorry for it?

I honestly don't see this at all. I think Quin's created an extremely healthy yet competitive environment and as I mentioned previously, given his own demons, this could be a match made in Heaven.
